Ariana Grande looked visibly shaken after a fan suddenly grabbed her shoulders
Multiple videos shared online from different angles show a fan accosting Ariana Grande. The singer, who plays Glinda in the upcoming film, was walking the yellow brick road carpet at Universal Studios Singapore with costars Michelle Yeoh, Cynthia Erivo, and Jeff Goldblum when a man in a white shirt and shorts suddenly sprinted toward her and grabbed her.
The man, who had long black hair with blue streaks, wrapped his arm around Grande and pulled her close as she tried to break away. Erivo, who plays Elphaba, immediately rushed toward them, stepping between Grande and the man while appearing to shout at him. Security officers stepped in right after and pulled the man away.
Grande looked visibly shaken, taking deep breaths as Erivo and Yeoh comforted her. Security quickly escorted the man from the area.
Who grabbed Ariana Grande at the film premiere?
The man who crashed the film premiere exposed himself as Johnson Wen, known online as “Pyjama Man.” Wen posted his own video of the incident on Instagram and wrote, “Dear Ariana Grande, thank you for letting me jump on the yellow carpet with you ❤️.”
In a series of Instagram Stories, he added, “I finally met Ariana Grande tonight.” He also shared a clip of himself disrupting Grande's special moment, followed by another story showing security escorting him away. On that video, he wrote, “Omg a crazy fan charged at Ariana Grande at the Wicked Singapore premiere.” In his most recent story, he filmed himself and wrote, “I’m free after being arrested.”
Notably, Wen has been touching and approaching multiple celebrities without consent. For the past two years, he has repeatedly stormed stages and high-profile events in an effort to go viral.
Wen’s pattern of disruption dates back to August 20, 2023, when he ran onto the field during the FIFA Women’s World Cup final. He later uploaded the footage as if it were an achievement. His behavior escalated over time.
On December 7, 2024, he sprinted toward The Chainsmokers during a live show in Sydney before security tackled him. He still captioned the moment as though it were a planned collaboration, writing, “Thanks for letting me on stage.”
By June 2025, he had moved on to major pop stars. That month, he jumped onstage during a Katy Perry performance and placed his hand on her shoulder, causing her to recoil in shock. He later celebrated the incident on social media.
Weeks later, in August 2025, he rushed The Weeknd during a concert, forcing the singer to step back before guards removed him. Wen again pretended it was an invitation, writing, “Thanks for letting me stay on stage.”
Wen regularly posts dozens of videos of himself wandering malls, restaurants, and metro cars in pajamas while disrupting people for attention. This pattern defines his entire “career”: create chaos, get thrown out, and post the footage to gain views.

One fan on Instagram warned the man, writing, "GET A JOB STAY AWAY FROM HER." Another user questioned, "Oh wow so you do this a lot…and how aren’t you in jail?" A worried user said, "It’s still wrong to touch someone without consent, especially hug someone you don’t even know personally. It’s common respect to ask and he just basically tackled her to get attention in himself. It’s gross behavior 😭."
A fan urged, "Guys, lets report his account together."
"Everyone sue this man. He's out of control. He needs to be put in his place. He has too much self entitlement. He needs to lose all his money," a comment read.
One more Instagram user shared, "How disdainful are you, you have no frigging right to intrude in her or practically any celebrity’s business. To you it seems like a great opportunity but to them it’s terrorising their personal space." Someone else said, "You literally assaulted her and you’re posting it? bro you deserve to be in jail there is something severely wrong with you."
