WASHINGTON, D.C.: President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign raised approximately $53 million in February, resulting in a cash reserve of $155 million, as it endeavors to establish a significant fundraising lead over the Trump campaign in preparation for the November general election.

The campaign team declared that February represented its most significant grassroots fundraising month since Biden declared his bid for reelection in April of last year, and it marked the fourth continuous month in which the operation surpassed its grassroots fundraising record.

The Biden campaign team proudly announced that the $155 million in cash reserves is the highest ever for a Democratic candidate at this stage of the election cycle, according to a report from The Hill.

What did Biden campaign officials say regarding electoral spending?

Biden campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez said in a statement, “We’re proud of the record-breaking fundraising machine we’ve built that is going toward reaching the voters about the stakes of this election – to expanding our footprint in the states, investing in paid media, and having our principals barnstorm the country. And we’re just getting started.”

“Donald Trump and the RNC’s numbers and operation tell a different story – one of division, ineptitude, and a fundamental inability to build a coalition that can win 270 electoral votes,” she continued.

“The stakes of this election couldn’t be higher for the future of this country, and our historic fundraising operation is making sure every voter knows these stakes come November,” Rodriguez remarked.

The Biden campaign has already announced their impressive fundraising figures for early March.

According to the campaign, it received donations worth $10 million within 24 hours of Biden's State of the Union speech, marking the largest 24-hour collection of the campaign so far.

The campaign also disclosed plans to spend $30 million on advertising over six weeks, exceeding its spending for the entire year of 2023 following the President's reelection declaration in April.

In the meantime, fundraising remains a significant concern for the RNC and the Trump campaign, with the latter exhausting millions of dollars to pay legal fees.

The RNC's cash balance at the start of 2024 was slightly over $8 million, following a disappointing fundraising year in 2023.
