Zach Bryan's ex Deb Peifer shares cryptic post amid Brianna Chickenfry's emotional abuse allegation
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Country music artist Zach Bryan's other ex-girlfriend, Deb Peifer, has raised intrigue with a cryptic TikTok following Brianna 'Chickenfry' LaPaglia's shocking disclosures on the singer's alleged emotional abuse.
Peifer posted an obscure video after LaPaglia discussed her own separation with the singer, claiming he was emotionally abusive, on the 'BFFs' podcast, released on Thursday, November 7, per People.
Zach Bryan's ex-girlfriend Deb Peifer comes 'clean' with cryptic TikTok post
Brianna LaPaglia, 25, shared on a recent edition of the 'BFFs' podcast that Bryan tried to use non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to silence his ex-partners.
LaPaglia claimed that Bryan's team offered her an enticing offer of $12 million to remain quiet about their split, which she vehemently refused.
After the disclosure, Peifer—who dated Bryan from 2022 to 2023—posted a TikTok video that has followers piecing together what happened.
Peifer was shown in the video pouring a glass of Josh Wine, smiling, and dancing to Taylor Swift's song 'Clean'. "Wine thursday w my roommate," she captioned the photo, adding a yellow love emoji and tagging her friend MK.

Though Peifer, 26, didn't say anything in the video or provide an explanation in the title, fans began speculating in the comments section that the video is a subtle reference to her previous relationship with the 29-year-old country music singer.
Fans immediately took the video as a subliminal reference to LaPaglia's revelations. LaPaglia's podcast co-host Josh Richards was linked with Peifer's wine brand, Josh Wine.
Moreover, the selection of Swift's song 'Clean', which is about closure, stoked rumors that Peifer could have alluded subtly to her previous connection with Bryan.
One user commented on the TikTok post, "Josh wine. T Swift lyrics (Dave stans for). The song choice. The wine. The smile. But maybe it’s all coincidental. Love this for her though 🥰"
"….posted exactly at 8pm," another said, referring to the release time of the 'BFFs' Podcast episode, per People.
Brianna LaPaglia recounts 'emotional abuse' in relationship with Zach Bryan
Brianna LaPaglia made the claims on Thursday, November 7, when she addressed her relationship with Bryan for the first time on her podcast which she cohosts with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, since the country music artist announced their split on October 22.
Regarding the alleged abuse, she described it as a never-ending cycle of "build you up, beat you down, apologize over and over," per People.
She added, "There was always another excuse as to why he was treating me so poorly and why I'm crying myself to sleep every night."
"Why he's screaming at me and then you wake up, it's the apology, it's the 'I'm going to be better like I need you in my life,' but if you've been through this — I don't expect people to understand emotional abuse if you haven't been through it. I hope you never have to go through it but if you've been there you know what I'm talking about," LaPaglia said.
Deb Peifer opened up about Zach Bryan and Brianna LaPaglia's split
Although Deb Peifer has not responded directly to Brianna LaPaglia's allegations, she appeared to support her in a different video last month. She made it clear that she took no pleasure in the misery of others, especially other women.
"I don’t really think that I have to say this, but I kind of think I want to. I’m not 100 percent sure yet honestly, but I just want to be clear on the fact that I don’t find any gratification in other people hurting, specifically other women hurting," Peifer said on TikTok on October 24.
She added: "I feel like I’ve seen some comments on my personal social media pages alluding to the fact that I do and I don’t," per Us Weekly.
Peifer continued, "I just wanted to make sure that was clear. I think emotions are so nuanced and complicated, but I don’t feel better because other people are hurting in any capacity. I don’t think you should either but that’s your journey."
Zach Bryan and Deb Peifer dated from 2022 to 2023
Zach Bryan, whose career took off with his 2022 record 'American Heartbreak,' was married to Rose Madden from 2020 to 2021 before he started dating Peifer. They dated from 2022 to 2023.
The ex-couple posted glimpses of their relationship on social media while they were dating, including a since-deleted TikTok video of them jokingly pleading for Eras Tour tickets while singing Taylor Swift's 'Tim McGraw', per People.
However, the 'Dawns' singer announced on X (formerly Twitter) that he and Peifer were no longer together, saying he wanted to communicate the news "for transparency and with respect," before adding, "Things are mutual between us, we’re leaving with plenty [of] memories and good times."
Meanwhile, the country music artist revealed on social media in October that he and LaPaglia had broken up, following their July 2023 relationship announcement.
Bryan shared in a shared Instagram Stories post, "Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with [each other] and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I'll always thank her."
