LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Zayn Malik has earned significant praise for featuring an all-women band at the live performances of his debut solo tour.

While this may seem like the bare minimum, it is unfortunately still rare in the music industry for male artists to give women such prominent roles in their bands, making the former One Direction member's decision noteworthy and empowering.

Zayn Malik's live shows are getting noticed for featuring an all-women band

Zayn Malik first introduced his all-women band in May during his long-awaited return to the stage after an eight-year hiatus, performing at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. However, it wasn’t until recently that the band garnered attention beyond the British singer's core fanbase.

A tweet featuring a photo shared by band member Lisa Ramey highlighted the band’s self-chosen name, "The Zweeties," which sparked a wave of admiration online. Other members include Molly Miller, Baby Bulldog, Tahira Clayton, and Tina Hizon.
