In an interview with ELLE, the 36-year-old actress and filmmaker addressed the breakup for the first time, stating that it has not impacted her perspective on their collaborative work on the upcoming psychological thriller 'Blink Twice'.

Despite the breakup, Zoe Kravitz holds no regrets about their time together, emphasizing the positive impact of their relationship.

“I love this thing that we made together, and I care for him very much,” she told ELLE, speaking about 'Blink Twice'.

She further noted that hearing praise for Tatum’s performance in the film "warms my heart," adding, "I’m so happy that all of it happened."

For Kravitz, their relationship was more than just a romantic connection. "I just feel so grateful that we got to go on that journey together," she reflected.

Zoe Kravitz and Channing Tatum first met when she cast him as the lead in 'Blink Twice', a psychological thriller in which he plays the tech-billionaire antagonist, Slater King.

She had a clear vision for his role, wanting to "weaponize his charisma" in a way that showcased a new dimension of his acting abilities.

Despite their split, Kravitz stands by her decision to cast him, asserting that his performance in the film remains one of the project’s strongest elements.

"Channing was the first person I thought of for Slater King, and I don’t know where that came from," she previously told Variety in December 2024.

"For Chan specifically, it was about how exciting it would be to see him do something so different and so surprising, and something that I knew he was so capable of," she shared.

Even after their breakup, Zoe Kravitz continues to praise Channing Tatum’s talent and growth as an actor.

"He has so much more coming, and I think he’s in a place as an actor where he’s feeling really confident and people are seeing different sides of him," she said.

Her admiration for his skills extends beyond their collaboration on 'Blink Twice'; she expressed excitement for his future projects.

"He has a lot to offer talent-wise, and I’m excited for people to keep witnessing that," she added.
