LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Zoe Saldana found herself at odds with the internet after her spirited antics during the 2025 Golden Globe Award for Best Song did not appear to please fans.

The 46-year-old actress, who won the Best Supporting Actress for her role in the musical thriller ‘Emilia Perez’ earlier in the evening, appeared to displease a section of the fans with her "disrespectful" rambling act in the middle of the show.

Saldana’s passionate outburst, when the Best Original Song award was presented, was caught on live camera and has since been criticized by many fans.

As the evening progressed, Jeff Goldblum and Michelle Yeoh took the stage to present the Golden Globe for Best Original Song, which was ultimately won by French musicians Clement Ducol and Camille Dalmais for their work on 'El Mal' for Jacques Audiard's ‘Emilia Perez’ on Netflix, The Sun reported.

However, as Ducol and Dalmais were walking up to accept the award, the audience could see Saldana brazenly running toward the stage and running in the background.

The Marvel star further took the award from Goldblum and Yeoh’s hand, presumably to present the award to Ducol and Dalmais herself.

Nevertheless, Goldblum appeared to have taken the trophy back to present the award later, according to the Daily Mail

Ducol and Dalmais could also be seen smiling when they realized Saldana joined them on stage.

As the winning duo thanked everyone for the award, they also made a heartfelt note toward the actress and her co-stars Selena Gomez and Karla Sofía Gascon, saying that the film “wouldn't be what it is” without them.

Several fans were left confused by the chaotic moment, with some even recalling a similar moment from 2009 MTV VMAs when rapper Lil Mama similarly crashed Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' performance.

Zoe Saldana's antics did not sit well with Internet

One of the social media users asked on X, "Why is Zoe Saldana on the stage? I know she won (and I do like her) but she really needs to sit down. #GoldenGlobes Her rambling speech was bad enough, but this is just cringe (and disrespectful TBH)."

Someone else noted, "Did Zoe Saldana just pull a Lil Mama on stage 😩."

As per The Sun, another critic asked, "Wow Zoe should be embarrassed, now why would she rush up on the stage like that?"

"Zoe Saldana getting on stage during the presentation of Best Song," noted another fan referencing Lil Mama, Jay-Z, and Alicia's incident from the 2009 VMAs.

Another reader commented on the Daily Mail website, "Urgh how gauche. Isn’t she about 45, she’s acting like a 14 year old who’s had too many haribo, or something… Cringe!"

"Look at Me Me Me! Cringe," added someone else.
