LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: On a memorable night in Las Vegas on November 1, Adele welcomed a special guest to her ongoing residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace—none other than legendary actress Meryl Streep.

The Grammy-winning singer took a playful Halloween twist by dressing as Madeline Ashton, Meryl's iconic character from 'Death Becomes Her,' complete with a silver dress that instantly brought the classic role to life.

Midway through her performance of 'When We Were Young,' Adele took a moment to bow down to Streep, embracing her warmly in a moment that perfectly captured their mutual admiration.

The night was part of Adele’s residency Weekends with Adele, which began in November 2022 and has become a celebrated event in Las Vegas.

Adele gets emotional as Celine Dion surprises her at Vegas show

Just days prior, Celine Dion had also made a surprise appearance at Adele’s show, bringing the singer to tears.

In a candid Instagram post, Adele revealed the deep emotions behind her encounter with Dion, sharing, “I have been performing in Celine Dion’s room at the Colosseum for almost 2 years now. 4 weeks to go! It was the only venue I wanted to play in Vegas because it was built for her.”

Adele’s connection to Dion and The Colosseum runs deep.

For nearly two years, she’s performed in the venue designed for Dion, reportedly touching a photo of the superstar “right next to the stage…every night” before going on.

Dion’s presence in the audience turned Adele’s usual pre-show ritual into something unforgettable. “It was a MOMENT!!” Adele wrote on Instagram. “@celinedion I love you so very very much. Words will never sum up what you mean to me, or what you coming to my show means, let alone how it felt seeing you back in your palace with your beautiful family.”

As Adele’s residency draws to a close, she reflects on the impact of performing at the iconic venue. “I have loved being there; it has been such an honor, and Saturday night will be something I remember forever and ever. Such a full circle moment for me to be there with you. Thank you so much ♥️,” she added.

Despite the sold-out success of her Las Vegas shows, Adele has felt the toll. In July, she announced her plans to take a “big break” from music following the conclusion of her residency in November.
