LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: R&B singer Al B Sure! has reignited questions surrounding the death of his former partner, model and actress Kim Porter, with a series of explosive Instagram posts.

The singer, whose real name is Albert Joseph Brown, has called for an investigation into Porter’s 2018 death, alleging that there is more to the story than the official ruling of death from lobar pneumonia, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

His posts have sparked considerable attention due to the startling parallels he draws between Porter’s case and recent claims made by singer Cassie Ventura in a lawsuit against Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

Al B Sure! suggests conspiracy involving individuals around Kim Porter at time of her death

In his Instagram posts, Albert Joseph Brown suggests that a conspiracy involving individuals around Kim Porter at the time of her death played a role in suppressing crucial information, particularly details from her unpublished memoir.

Brown also accuses these individuals of deliberately altering the contents of her manuscript to hide damaging information.

While he does not explicitly name Diddy in his accusations, the timing of his posts—just a week after Diddy's arrest on unrelated federal charges—has added fuel to the already swirling speculation.

Porter was found dead in her Toluca Lake, California, home in 2018, with the coroner initially listing her cause of death as "deferred" before ultimately ruling it as lobar pneumonia.

Porter had flu-like symptoms for several days before her death, and her sudden passing shocked the entertainment world.

Porter had been romantically linked to Diddy for over a decade, and they shared three children together—Christian Combs and twins, D’Lila and Jessie Combs. Porter also had a son, Quincy Brown, from her previous relationship with Brown.

"In a nutshell, Kimberly was allegedly taken from us because she was set on course to accomplish what Mrs. Cassie Ventura did by igniting the Bon Fire [sic] which brings us here today," Brown wrote, alluding to Cassie's recent allegations against Diddy.

Brown did not provide specifics but suggested that publicists and others who were around Porter at the time of her death should be questioned by law enforcement.

The singer's accusations are not new. Brown has been vocal in the past about his belief that Porter’s death was not natural, but he claims his attempts to raise the issue have been ignored by authorities.

He also alleges that he was "medically silenced" during his efforts to expose the truth. In 2023, Brown faced a serious health scare, falling into a coma after being hospitalized for multiple illnesses.

He described the ordeal in one of his Instagram posts, saying he suffered from "multiple system organ failure, septic, intubated, on a ventilator for 38 days, and forced to visit death’s doorstep."

Despite this, Brown survived and has continued to speak out about Porter’s death.
