LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Al B Sure!, whose real name is Albert Joseph Brown III, has reportedly hinted that his 2022 coma had something to do with Sean Love Combs, popularly known as Diddy.

The 55-year-old rapper recently appeared at the Equal Justice Now Awards in Los Angeles, where he said, “We’re going to be producing the Al B. Sure! life story,” as reported by New York Daily News.

He added, “So hold on to your britches, and you’ll really understand how I ended up in a coma. You’re really gonna need to call Homeland Security.”

It was reportedly Homeland Security that raided Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami on March 25 as he faces multiple sexual assault lawsuits.

In 2022, Sure! suddenly collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. He was in a coma for more than two months. The cause of the incident has never been revealed.

Al B Sure! calls Diddy’s controversies ‘unfortunate’

When asked about the raids after his speech at the awards, Sure! added, “The entire situation is unfortunate. I don’t speak about another man’s business. All I know is that I’m working on the life story. And the way I got to be in a coma, stay tuned.”

This came as the record producer shared a post on his Instagram that included a photo of him with his 32-year-old son, Quincy Brown, whom he shared with late model Kim Porter. Despite him being Brown’s biological father, it was Diddy who reportedly raised him.

After Kim Porter and Sure! parted ways, she was in a long-term relationship with Diddy.

But now, Sure! via his post said, “#LettertoMySon! Come Home. The🚪is wide open. You’re safe here son! I Love you, Popz, Your Biological ✊🏽 @Transplants4All.”

Diddy’s attorney calls out authorities

Earlier, Diddy’s lawyer trashed the authorities following the raids.

Aaron Dyer reportedly said, “Yesterday, there was an excessive use of force resembling military tactics during the execution of search warrants at Mr Combs' residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.”

He continued, “Mr Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.

“This unprecedented ambush – paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence – leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.”

Dyer added, “There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”
