MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Alex Soros, the son of left-wing activist and billionaire George Soros, has recommended that Democrats seize every opportunity to refer to former President Donald Trump as a "convicted felon."

In a post on X, Soros emphasized that “repetition is the key to a successful message” and claimed the Democratic Party wants Americans to “wrestle” with the prospect of voting for a "convicted felon" in the forthcoming 2024 presidential election, according to Breitbart News.

Following the conclusion of former President Trump's hush money criminal trial, the 12-person jury bench returned a unanimous verdict of guilty on all 34 counts on Thursday, May 30.

What did Alex Soros tweet about former President Donald Trump’s felony conviction?

Alex Soros tweeted, “Democrats should refer to Trump as a convicted felon at every opportunity. Repetition is the key to a successful message and we want people to wrestle with the notion of hiring a convicted felon for the most important job in the country!”

In April 2023, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg brought 34 charges against Donald Trump for allegedly falsifying business records in the first degree in relation to hush money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election.

It was previously reported that Bragg, who assumed office in November 2021, received indirect financial support from the prominent leftist figure, George Soros.

Specifically, Soros contributed $1 million to the Color of Change PAC, which allocated funds to support Bragg's election campaign.

Soros has spent “millions in recent local prosecutorial elections, often backing left-wing radicals against incumbent or moderate Democrats. His involvement has coincided with a massive rise in violent crimes in Democrat-run cities.”

Furthermore, George Soros has financed district attorneys in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Cook County, Illinois; and Contra Costa County, California.

Following Thursday's historic felony conviction of the former POTUS, Trump told reporters that it was "done by the Biden administration in order to hurt an opponent, a political opponent."

The 77-year-old MAGA strongman went on to say that the "real verdict" will be on "November 5 by the people."
