'American Idol' judge Luke Bryan trolled over odd facial expression during auditions: 'Is he bored?'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘American Idol’ Season 23 judge Luke Bryan is gaining the internet’s attention for all the wrong reasons!
The fans have caught the 48-year-old country singer with a peculiar expression while judging auditions during the Sunday, March 9, episode, as per Irish Star.
'American Idol' fans question Luke Bryan's peculiar expression
While the latest season has already been buzzworthy with Carrie Underwood returning to ‘American Idol’ as a judge after previously winning the crown herself in Season 4, the eagle-eyed viewers noticed Luke Bryan making an odd face while the contestants belted out memorable performances.

Soon, a Redditor took to the r/americanidol subreddit to point out the expression, while posing the question, "Why Does Luke Always Make A Face Like He Is Constipated Every Time Someone Is Singing?"
This is, however, not the first time the 'Buy Dirt' hitmaker has been hit with accusations of making the same grimacing face. In 2020, a social media user panned his photoshoot for the ‘Born Here Live Here Die Here’ album, writing on X (formerly Twitter), "Who approved this constipated-face promo shot of Luke Bryan for his new album?"

Luke Bryan trolled for making odd facial expression
The Redditors began theorizing about the reason behind Luke Bryan's peculiar expression.
One of the Reddit users hypothesized, "Maybe it’s his reaction to a sh***y note." "He very will could be, or is it he's bored," a person wrote
However, someone else pointed out that he made a similar expression during another contestant's performance as well, saying, "No. He made that face with Alejandro and he loved Alejandro."
Another fan, meanwhile, propagated the theory, "He has a lot of fillers and Botox going on."
One simply replied to the post with an image of Butt-Head from the animated sitcom, 'Beavis and Butt-Head', drawing comparison between the odd expression of the character and that of Bryan.
