Amy Adams reveals why she would consider 'amazing' fan campaign to play Taylor Swift’s publicist
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Amy Adams addressed a fan-driven internet campaign for her to portray Taylor Swift’s publicist, Tree Paine, in a biopic.
During her appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' on Tuesday, December 3, the 50-year-old actress responded to the idea with enthusiasm as she said, "Uh, that would be amazing."

Fans have noted the physical resemblance between the two redheads, sparking speculation about Amy Adams taking on the role if a film about Taylor Swift’s life were ever made.
"That would be so fun," Adams added, joking that her motivation for accepting the role would be a highly relatable one.
"If it got me closer to Taylor, then that would be fun," she shared, according to People.
Amy Adams opens up on her transformation into ‘Swiftie at 50’
Amy Adams revealed that she has become a devoted Taylor Swift fan, particularly after attending the Eras Tour.
"I’m a Swiftie at 50, so I’m like a shifty 50 Swiftie, and I’m like, ‘Isn’t that nifty?’” she said, poking fun at herself.

'The Nightbitch' star admitted that her transformation into a full-fledged Swiftie included fully embracing the fan culture and shared that she always "liked her and appreciated her."
The actress said that she went from "normal" to "I’ll take all the friendship bracelets!’”
Her teenage daughter, Aviana Olea Le Gallo, however, had mixed feelings about her mom’s new obsession.
"My daughter’s going, ‘Ooh, I hate this for you,’” Adams quipped.
Amy Adams on motherhood and ‘Nightbitch’
Amy Adams also reflected on sharing her 'Nightbitch' journey with her 14-year-old daughter Aviana, who made her red carpet debut at the film’s premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
"Parts of it I’m excited to share with her, being that it’s her mom I’m gonna be a little bit more protective of certain aspects of the filmmaking," Adams previously told People.
The 'Enchanted' actress spoke about how motherhood has shaped her life and inspired her portrayal in 'Nightbitch', a film centered on a woman’s raw and transformative journey through parenthood.
"I think what I want her to know about my experience of motherhood is how much she’s enriched my life and made me the woman that I am today," the actress said of the film.
Adams’ 'Nightbitch' which explores the theme of motherhood hits theaters on Friday, December 6, 2024.
