Jimmy Fallon pokes fun at Donald Trump's upcoming inauguration speech with 'The Office' reference
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Jimmy Fallon poked fun at Donald Trump’s upcoming inauguration speech, focusing on the awkward dynamic expected with Joe Biden in attendance, a notable reversal, as Trump skipped Biden’s 2021 inauguration.
“I feel like Biden’s going to spend the entire speech looking into the camera like Jim from The Office,” Fallon joked, referencing John Krasinski's famous deadpan looks in the popular sitcom.

He further described the theme of the event as “awkward,” adding that Trump’s history of election denial and Biden’s likely reaction would make for plenty of tension, according to HuffPost.
Jimmy Fallon's Thanksgiving jokes about Donald Trump and Joe Biden
Jimmy Fallon kicked off his Thanksgiving-themed jokes during Tuesday’s episode of 'The Tonight Show' on November 26 by taking aim at President Joe Biden's final turkey pardon ahead of the holiday.
“Yep, Biden promised that the turkeys would not get killed this November," said Fallon, adding, "Democrats were like, ‘Hey, that’s what you said to us.'"
The host also shifted focus to Trump, who recently won the reelection.
“I hope everyone enjoyed the pardoning, because next year, under Trump, those turkeys will be Matt Gaetz and Rudy Giuliani,” joked Fallon.
Jimmy Fallon on Donald Trump becoming the first convicted felon President
Jimmy Fallon previously weighed in on Donald Trump's historical reelection, delivering his most biting joke of the night after the election results were announced on November 5.
“Trump made history in a lot of ways. Last night, he became the first convicted felon ever elected president," he said.
"Congrats. Trump could be the first president to be under White House arrest," Fallon continued, per Variety.
Still, he kept much of his commentary lighthearted, blending humor with the historical significance of the election.
Teasing Trump’s age, Fallon noted, “At age 78, Trump has also become the oldest man ever elected president, breaking a record set by President Biden in 2020. But it’s nice Biden will pass the torch—and his Life Alert necklace.”
"Google searches spiked for the question, “did Joe Biden drop out?” Although most of those searches were from Joe Biden," he joked.
In his election monologue, the comedian further shared, “Trump won last night in pretty convincing fashion, securing the Electoral College and the popular vote, which means for the first time ever, he’ll accept the results of an election.”
"So far, the Electoral College votes are 224 for Kamala Harris and 292 for Trump. Yep, 224 versus 292, it’s basically Trump’s made-up weight versus his actual weight,” Fallon added.
