NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'The View' co-host Ana Navarro revealed on Monday, December 2, that she once wrote President Joe Biden a note saying she hoped he would pardon his son, Hunter.

Navarro told co-host Sunny Hostin during the show, "I actually talked to Joe Biden about this when he was on the show. I told him I hoped he pardoned Hunter."

Hunter was convicted of three felonies in June for lying about his drug use while purchasing a gun in 2018, and he was also caught up in a separate case for failing to pay at least $1.4 million in taxes.

Ana Navarro reveals writing note to Joe Biden hoping he would pardon Hunter Biden

Ana Navarro said, "I went to speak at the Biden Institute in Delaware, like, a month later, and we talked on the phone, and I told him I hoped he pardoned Hunter. I left him a handwritten note at his desk at the University of Delaware and told him I hoped he pardoned Hunter."

Notably, Navarro spoke at the Biden Institute at the end of October 2024 and discussed about Latino voters and their impact on the US election, according to Newsweek.

Moreover, Navarro expressed sympathy for President Biden on 'The View' on Monday. She said, "So many of the people who committed this crime do not get prosecuted. Imagine the guilt that Joe Biden has to live with thinking that his son, his only surviving son, is getting prosecuted because he is his son."

Ana Navarro celebrates Joe Biden pardoning son Hunter Biden

Ana Navarro celebrated as President Biden announced his decision to pardon for his son Hunter Biden for federal gun and tax charges on Sunday, December 1.

Biden wrote in a statement, "I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice."

Meanwhile, Navarro took to X to celebrate the move. She wrote, "Good for @JoeBiden. America elected a convicted felon. That convicted felon pardoned his son-in-law's father and appointed him Ambassador to France. If you support that, I don't want to hear jack-s*** about Biden pardoning his son."

She referred to Jared Kushner's father, Charles, who was convicted in the early 2000s of tax crimes, witness tampering, and making illegal campaign contributions.

Another 'The View' co-host, Whoopi Goldberg, also defended Biden’s decision to pardon Hunter over felony gun and tax convictions.

She said, "That’s what presidents do every time" pointing out that President-elect Donald Trump has previously handed out a long list of pardons to the likes of Michael Flynn and Roger Stone.

She added, "They do it every time, they pardon somebody, so I’m not sure why the pearl-clutching is happening now."

However, fellow panelist Alyssa Farah Griffin criticized Biden for previously denying that he would pardon his only surviving son.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had also repeatedly denied the idea that Biden would pardon Hunter.

Griffin said, "I felt bad for Karine Jean-Pierre. This is why people don’t trust Washington, this is why they don’t trust politicians. I know a lot of us like Joe Biden, but I find it disappointing and bad for our institutions."

She added that the move would set a dangerous precedent.

Internet slams Ana Navarro for writing note to Joe Biden hoping he pardoned Hunter Biden

Several social media users slammed Ana Navarro as she revealed she once wrote President Joe Biden a note saying she hoped he would pardon his son, Hunter Biden.

A user wrote on X, "She’s really a next level wretched person. God help her."

Another added, "Ana Navarro is just a disgusting low IQ woman. Nothing more than that."

A person stated, ''I have no words to describe my utter loathing for her and her ignorant, hateful ilk."

Another mentioned, "Lies, Coverups, Excuses. Rinse and Repeat."

A user wrote, "She’s dumb. Nothing she predicts ever happens. If I could bet against her I’d be richer than Elon."

Another commented, "Biden just embarrassed a lot of these people."
