CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: Actress Angie Harmon's 18-year-old daughter Avery Sehorn was released from custody following her promise to the judge about a forthcoming court appearance.

According to local broadcaster WCCB, Avery was taken into custody on Thursday, June 6, after being charged by a nightclub owner in Charlotte with breaking into the business and stealing alcohol bottles together with two 17-year-old guys.

Only a few days after graduating from high school, Avery Sehorn—the daughter of actor and former NFL player Jason Sehorn—was taken into custody and charged with felony theft and breaking.

Avery was taken into custody by the police, but they later released her after she provided a "written promise to appear" at her upcoming hearing at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse on June 28 instead of posting bail.

There did not appear to be additional conditions for her release.

According to court documents obtained by Daily Mail, Avery's release was "authorized upon execution of [her] written promise to appear" in court.

Judge Teresa Stokes received the unusual written pledge at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse. It is also revealed in the filings that Avery will be "required to provide fingerprints." The date of her hearing is June 28.

"Electronic warrants" that were issued for the teenager appear to have been revoked as well.

Avery was arrested a few days after Harmon, beaming with pride over her daughter, encouraged Avery to "leave every place better than you found it" in a graduation post.

Along with two 17-year-old males, 18-year-old Avery allegedly broke into the nightclub through the back door before hiding behind the bar and consuming alcohol.

On June 2, Avery received her diploma from Charlotte Christian School. Earlier this month, she was pictured beaming with her mother and sisters.

According to reports, she would enroll at the University of Alabama in the autumn.

The arrest happened only a few weeks after Angie Harmon made headlines by disclosing that an Instacart driver had shot her cherished puppy.

She stated in an Instagram post that the motorist shot her dog Ollie before claiming self-defense, despite "not having a scratch of bite on him nor were his pants torn."

During her segment on 'Good Morning America', the actress sobbed while explaining the situation and narrating how she heard her youngest child scream once she realized what had happened.
