Anna Wintour leaves Nicole Scherzinger out of Met Gala 2025 round-up photos over apparent MAGA support

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Broadway star Nicole Scherzinger has been left out of the list of every Met Gala 2025 attendee published by Vogue on Tuesday, May 6, reported the Daily Mail.
According to the publication, Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour seemingly has a hand in the incident, as she is famously liberal and may have taken a slight at Scherzinger's apparent MAGA sympathies.
Nicole Scherzinger's makes Met Gala debut in stunning white gown
Officially known as the Costume Institute Benefit, the Met Gala is the annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in Manhattan that is held on the first Monday of May every year, and is widely regarded to be one of the most prominent fashion events across the globe.

Scherzinger made her debut appearance at the event on May 5 dressed in a stunning white gown designed by Prabal Gurung, complete with sparkling pinstripes and a large black cape.
She is currently riding on a high after starring in the Broadway production of the musical 'Sunset Boulevard' as faded movie star Norma Desmond.
While the role has earned her a nomination for the Tony Awards, it was clearly not enough to have her featured on the 306 photo piece published by Vogue the following day, titled, 'See Every Look from the Met Gala 2025 Red Carpet Last Night.'
Her co-star Tom Francis, who has also been nominated for a Tony, made the cut, as well as her former boyfriend, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton.

Wintour is known for excluding guests she disapproves of from the official photo gallery of the attendees at the Met Gala, as she had done with Kim Kardashian back in 2013.
Nicole Scherzinger's apparent MAGA sympathies revelaed
Nicole Scherzinger has long been known as a Democrat, but in November last year, she liked a post on Instagram by comedian Russell Brand showing off a MAGA-style cap with the words 'Make Jesus Great Again.'
The devout catholic singer reportedly commented on the post, "Where do I get this hat!!!!?"

She also reportedly liked a post by the US Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F Kennedy Jr, after President Donald Trump won the White House in the previous general election.
"Yes @russellbrand @tuckercarlson I will restore speech, end the forever wars, and protect children's health once we get @realdonaldtrump back in the White House," RFK Jr had stated in the post.

After facing backlash from her liberal fans, Scherzinger later issued a statement that read, "I deeply apologize for the hurt caused by my recent engagement with some social media posts. When I commented on these posts, I made the mistake of not realizing that they could be easily interpreted as being politically related and I apologize to anyone who understandably reached that conclusion."
