Anne Hathaway fuels plastic surgery rumors as she debuts a taut face at Ralph Lauren fashion show

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Anne Hathaway, hailed as one of Hollywood’s most stunning women, sparked facelift rumors during her recent appearance at a Ralph Lauren fashion event.
The 42-year-old ‘Princess Diaries’ star turned heads at the Ralph Lauren Fall 2025 runway presentation on Thursday, April 17, at the Jack Shainman Gallery in Manhattan's Tribeca, as fans fixated on her smooth visage and sculpted features.

Soon after, fans began speculating whether ‘The Idea of You’ producer had undergone cosmetic work to maintain her youthful glow.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the ‘Intern’ star turned to celebrity makeup artist Kristopher Buckle for the event, who expertly contoured her face and added false lashes. She completed the radiant look with a touch of warm peach lip color.
Moreover, hairstylist Orlando Pita styled Hathaway’s hair up in a tight ponytail that further gave the facelift effect.
While the truth behind ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ star’s youthful glow is not known, back in 2008, the actress, then in her 20s denied ever getting under the knife.
However, she shared that she has always wanted to get a nose job. “When I was growing up, I wanted a nose job, because I didn't think my nose was good,” confessed Hathaway, and added, “Your face needs to have character if you're going to be an actor, or you're just kind of a face.”
In 2023, aesthetician Dr Gary Motykie reflected on Hathaway’s face and declared to Daily Mail that he had “no doubt she had surgery on her nose” as her nose appeared more refined and pointed.

The plastic surgeon said, “You see it go from a slightly more plunging bulbous tip with a wide bridge to having a much more defined contour and thinner bridge and thinner tip and more tip projection. That's the leading sign of having a rhinoplasty,” and continued, “We also see that natural sign of thinning and baby fat going away on her face, but it does appear to be more maintained.”
“So, again, I am suspicious of things like fillers, Botox, maintenance with micro-needling and skin tightening, things to just maintain the skin,” added the doctor.

He continued, “I also noticed her jawline is a bit narrower, again that could be the normal loss of body fat or it could be some slight contouring to the jawline to bring in that lower face with things like Botox to narrow that lower part of the face.”

While Anne Hathaway's recent look has fueled online speculation about possible cosmetic work, it has also drawn the attention of beauty enthusiasts, many of whom suggested her lifted appearance could be the result of a tightly pulled high ponytail.
One of the social media users on Reddit asked, "If 2025 is the year where everyone mysteriously looks two decades younger - what will 2035 bring?"
Someone else joked, while referencing Brad Pitt's movie, where the protagonist reverses ageing, writing, "Everybody in Hollywood is Benjamin Button-ing. Annie's on track to be a baby by 2045."
"I honestly can say I'd never have known this was Anne Hathaway," shared someone else.
"Asiana Hathaway? 😫 Reminding me of Ariana...," wrote someone else, referring to Ariana Grande, who's rumored to have undergone a foxy eye and brow lift.
"This look, could it be achieved with just make-up and a tight ponytail," noted someone else, before questioning, "Or was it something else?"
Another nostalgic fan referred 'The Princess Diaries', writing, "The Princess of Genovia does not age!!!"
"If she’s had work done it’s very very good. But let’s not discount the power of the slick back ponytail face lift," explained someone else.
