PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA: Former NFL star Antonio Brown said he was prepared to do anything to reinstate GOP nominee Donald Trump in the White House, including running for public office and playing an active role in the latter's administration.

The remarks were made by the former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver to the Daily Mail, while leading a voter registration drive at a tailgate party on Sunday, October 20, before the game between his old team and the New York Jets in the evening.

Antonio Brown was seen distributing Donald Trump- JD Vance rally towels in Steeler yellow on Sunday when he shared with the publication his determination to make a second Trump term a success.

When asked what sort of job he would like to do, Brown said, "I'd be the man in the office, the House of Representatives or something."



 

"Trump's going to put me in the Senate," he cheekily added, wearing a dark MAGA black cap. Brown also signed hats and held a Vote Early sign above his head, as the deadline for registering was about to end the following day.

Antonio Brown, a seven-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion, also appeared at a Donald Trump rally in Latrobe on Saturday evening, as the GOP nominee spent the weekend in the battleground state of Pennsylvania to drum up support days ahead of November 5, Election Day.



 

"Trump's gonna win Pennsylvania," Brown announced at the event, before ripping into Democratic vice presidential candidate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

Walz is popularly nicknamed "Coach" for his time coaching high school football and basketball.

"He isn't a real football coach," said the former Steelers wide receiver going after the moniker. "He couldn't guard me."

"I know the media is going to call me crazy...  Me and Trump crazy for having me speak here, but I want to make this clear - we are not. They are," added Brown.

Netizens slammed Antonio Brown over his appearance at Donald Trump's campaign events on the social media platform X.

"Looks like Antonio Brown finally found a team that would take him," wrote a user.



 

"It’s so cool how Trump is collecting the endorsements of every athlete with severe brain damage," shared another.



 

"He didn’t do this without getting overpaid to be there," quipped a third.



 

"Trump picks a guy who imploded in his professional football career. But Trump picks the best people, right?" jibed a fourth.



 

"Why is it that washed up has beens always find refuge in MAGA?" echoed a fifth.



 

"Just as stupid as the guy he is campaigning for!" expressed yet another.
