AOC mocks Trump's Walter Reed health exam after he challenges her to IQ test
WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) flipped President Donald Trump’s latest jab back at him after he bragged about his “high IQ” and challenged her and Rep Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) to take the same cognitive test he claimed to have aced.
Trump’s challenge quickly turned into a viral moment — but not for the reason he might have hoped. Ocasio-Cortez, known for her sharp wit, used the opportunity to mock the president’s repeated boasts about his mental fitness.

Hello Mr. President!

Out of curiosity, did those doctors ask you to draw a clock by any chance? Was that part hard for you, too?

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Ocasio-Cortez quipped, “Hello Mr. President! Out of curiosity, did those doctors ask you to draw a clock by any chance? Was that part hard for you, too? Asking for 340 million people.”
The jab referenced the clock-drawing task from the Montreal Cognitive Assessment — a screening test for cognitive impairment, not a measure of intelligence. Her sarcastic tone struck a chord with her 12.7 million followers, many of whom praised her for flipping Trump’s challenge into a punchline.
The exchange came after Trump claimed during a conversation with reporters aboard Air Force One that both Ocasio-Cortez and Crockett would fail the same test he took months ago at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Donald Trump dares Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to take IQ test
Trump: AOC is low IQ. If you give her an IQ test, have her pass like the exams that I decided to take when I was at Walter Reed. Those are very hard… They're really aptitude tests, in a certain way, but they're cognitive tests. Let AOC go against Trump.

“They have Jasmine Crockett, a low-IQ person. They have AOC’s low IQ,” Trump said. “If you give her an IQ test, have her pass like the exams I decided to take when I was at Walter Reed. Those are very hard… They’re really aptitude tests, in a certain way, but they’re cognitive tests. Let AOC go against Trump.”
He continued, “The first couple of questions are easy — a tiger, an elephant, a giraffe, you know. But when you get up to about five or six, and then when you get up to 10 and 20 and 25, they couldn’t come close to answering any of those questions.”
Trump has long pointed to the cognitive test as evidence of his mental sharpness, though medical experts have noted that the assessment is designed to detect signs of early dementia rather than gauge IQ.
Donald Trump discloses MRI results mid-flight
Reporter: Did you get an MRI?
— Acyn (@Acyn) October 27, 2025
Trump: I did. I got an MRI. It was perfect. Yeah… nobody has given you reports like I have given you. The doctors said some of the best reports they have ever seen. https://t.co/k4XL0j2NFK pic.twitter.com/pb09fTLCCs
While en route to Tokyo on Monday, Trump also revealed that he had undergone an MRI scan, telling reporters the results were “perfect.”
“The doctors said some of the best reports they’ve ever seen,” Trump said aboard Air Force One. “Some of the best reports for the age.”
The president, now the second-oldest individual to serve in the Oval Office, did not specify why the test was conducted but used the moment to double down on his claims of exceptional health.
