Arnold Schwarzenegger feels 'sorry' about son Patrick's breakup with Miley Cyrus: 'We all loved her'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Arnold Schwarzenegger hasn't forgotten his son Patrick's past relationship with pop star Miley Cyrus.
Even nearly a decade after their split, the Hollywood legend still holds fond memories of the time she spent with the family.

Arnold Schwarzenegger calls Miley Cyrus 'a wonderful houseguest'
During the Monday, June 23 episode of 'Watch What Happens Live', Schwarzenegger shared how much he enjoyed having Cyrus around while she briefly dated his son, Patrick Schwarzenegger.
“The best was that she’s a wonderful, wonderful girl and human being. Very, very talented,” Schwarzenegger said during the interview.
He fondly recalled, “She came up to Sun Valley when we were skiing up there, and she was just such a wonderful houseguest and everything like that. We all just loved her.”
Patrick and Miley dated from November 2014 to April 2015, while Patrick was attending college. Their relationship quickly made headlines.

After the split, Cyrus resumed her long and complicated relationship with actor Liam Hemsworth.
“She was just a really good person and fun to hang out with. I’m sorry it didn’t work out,” Schwarzenegger added on the show.
Even though Patrick has since moved on and is now engaged, Schwarzenegger made it clear he still remembers Cyrus warmly.
Patrick got engaged to model Abby Champion in December 2023 after eight years of dating.
“Patrick, in the meantime, found another girl that he got engaged to and he’s getting married to in September,” Schwarzenegger shared.
Miley Cyrus looks ahead with Maxx Morando
Cyrus' relationship with Patrick took place during a brief break from her on-and-off romance with Liam Hemsworth.
The couple first met on the set of 'The Last Song' in 2010, got engaged in 2012, and split in 2013. They later reconciled in 2016, married in December 2018, and ultimately divorced in 2020.
Since 2021, Cyrus has been dating musician Maxx Morando.
“He will be 27 when I turn 33, which I’m so excited for, because 27 was such a great year for me,” she said during her June 19 appearance on the 'Sorry We’re Cyrus' podcast, as reported by OK!.

“I’m just hoping that, as long as he follows in my footsteps, everything is going to be great. That’s right, when I started turning my life around.”
Patrick and Abby began dating shortly after his breakup with Cyrus and have remained together ever since, officially getting engaged in 2023.
