Ashton Kutcher owes Demi Moore 'a giant thank you' for keeping him ‘out of compromising situations’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ashton Kutcher should reportedly thank his ex-wife Demi Moore for keeping him on a tight leash that saved him from compromising situations during the days of his wild youth.
Moore, 61, who was previously married to Hollywood icon Bruce Willis, met Kutcher in 2003 through their mutual friends.
Though the ‘No Strings Attached’ star, now 46, was 15 years Moore’s junior, attraction flared between them and the duo tied the knot in 2005. While Kutcher was just 25, and wildly considered to be in his peak partying years, according to Moore’s friends, he was saved from a disastrous fate in showbiz because of the prudence of his then-wife.
According to sources, the ‘Ghost’ actress, though notorious for her bold roles in the nineties, is a “sexually conservative person,” who was left unimpressed by the wild celebrity parties.
According to the insiders, it was her prudence during those times that allegedly kept Kutcher away from scandal’s way.
Demi Moore tried to keep Ashton Kutcher away from compromising situations
Recently, a close friend of Demi Moore told In Touch about her influence on her then-husband which allegedly kept Kutcher out of scandal’s way.
Moreover, they added Moore kept Kutcher on the tightest leash as she was not impressed by his friend Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ questionable behavior.
A close friend of Moore recently revealed to the outlet, “For all the hype around her sexy movie roles of the nineties and the image that came with all of that, Demi is a sexually conservative person who wouldn’t be caught dead at an orgy, and that goes double for the years she was with Ashton.”
“They had a vibrant love life when they were together, for sure, but it didn’t involve group situations and it didn’t involve a lot of ‘celebrity partying’ either,” revealed the source.
The source revealed that while Kutcher was relatively young when he met with Moore, he was not aware of the ways of the tinsel town. But Moore, due to her long career in Hollywood, knew the ways and helped Kutcher to navigate the glamorous life in the industry.
“Demi did everything she could to keep Ashton out of compromising and tempting situations,” shared the source, before adding, “And that definitely kept him away from these crazy situations you’re hearing about in Diddy’s case.”
The source noted additionally, “I think Ashton owes Demi a giant thank you for keeping him on such a short leash during what would have been his peak partying years under other circumstances.”
While Moore’s influence on Kutcher did little to break his friendship with convicted rapist Danny Masterson, the ‘Indecent Proposal’ actress’ strong authority impeded Kutcher’s proximity with Diddy.
The source continued, “Sure, Demi had to tolerate Ashton’s friendship with a complete low-life like Danny Masterson, but that was a relationship that pre-dated her even meeting Ashton.”
“I don’t think she ever allowed him to get as close to Diddy, with good reason!” concluded the insider.
Diddy hinted that Demi Moore curtailed their partying ways
It is, however, noteworthy to mention that not only Demi Moore’s pals are talking about her influence on Ashton Kutcher but Diddy also hinted about it in one of his essays.
In an essay for Time, Diddy mentioned that he and Ashton Kutcher were practically inseparable until around 2003 when the 'Two and a Half Men' star fell in love with Demi Moore.
Referring to the tight-knit group as a “rat pack” - that also included Jamie Foxx - the Bad Boy Records founder reminisced about their wild partying days.
Diddy wrote, "For a while, with Jamie Foxx, we were a rat pack, hanging out, going to clubs.”
"I remember one night he was with Demi, maybe for the first time, and a couple of weeks later he called me to tell me he was in love. That was the end of our clubbing,” continued the rapper.
Though their parting ways took a hit, the ‘Last Night’ rapper claimed that their friendship remained intact, though changed its form.
"But we are still friends,” noted Diddy, before adding, “Not that cliché of: ‘Let’s make a move, let’s do a deal,’ he is a sounding board for me.”
"Like me, he’s a mogul—a new media mogul. But we are yin and yang: I am in your face and he is understated, cool, suave,” concluded the rapper.
