Bam Margera ties the knot with Dannii Marie after custody battle with ex-wife Nikki Boyd

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bam Margera exchanged vows with his fiancee, Dannii Marie, on Tuesday, May 24 following his custody battle with ex-wife Nicole “Nikki” Boyd. 

According to PageSix, the wedding occurred at the Val Verde Historic Hotel in Socorro County, NM, where the couple is filming a movie titled 'Collecting Souls.'

According to TMZ, the 44-year-old 'Jackass' alum and his bride were observed exchanging vows while holding hands, surrounded by a camera crew.

Margera, who has battled with substance abuse over the years, credited Marie with aiding his journey to sobriety during his vows.

Reflecting on their meeting one year ago at the Sunset Marquis in Los Angeles, where he had contemplated ending his life, he expressed gratitude for her positive influence.

He recounted, "I bought enough drugs to not want to wake up and I said, God if I do wake up, eff you, but you better deliver me the hottest eye candy with A-cup t**s and a tan pitbull."

Their encounter at the hotel pool marked the beginning of their relationship, which he pledged to cherish forever.

Margera added, "I love you and I’ll love you forever and I’ll take care of you. You got rid of all the d*******s and goons and made me stop drinking and got me back to skateboarding and I cannot thank you enough."

The former professional skateboarder, known by his birth name Brandon Cole Margera, previously discussed how his new wife played a pivotal role in helping him establish structure in his life.

He added, "Now I wake up, I walk the dogs, I stretch, I go to the gym, I go skateboarding." 

Meanwhile, Marie recounted how she supported Margera in turning his life around after he was mandated to wear an alcohol-detecting ankle monitor in August. 

Marie recalled, "He went through [detox] and I didn’t go anywhere. We stayed in this beautiful crystal-infested pool house where we just healed, all of us, and we shut the phones off." 

She remembered, "I changed his number and we just X’d the bad people and here we are."

The couple's wedding ceremony comes over a year after Margera's former wife Boyd filed for legal separation—although he later disputed their legal marriage. 

The pair engaged in a legal battle over their six-year-old child, Phoenix. Margera accused Boyd of restricting his access to their son, while she argued she was complying with custody orders and highlighted the distance between them, stating he lived "3,000 miles away." 

In December 2023, Margera was granted supervised visitation for up to four hours every Saturday and Sunday, provided he gave Boyd a week's notice. Following his separation from Boyd, Margera briefly dated Jessica before embarking on a relationship with Marie.
