'Story as old as time': Internet divided over Bam Margera's heated dispute with fiancee Dannii Marie

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Bam Margera claimed that his noisy dispute with his fiancee Dannii Marie was merely an act of love, however, it appeared and sounded like they were at one other's throats.

The 44-year-old former 'Jackass' star got into a heated argument with fiancee Marie, 35, on Thursday, March 7, outside of a Nashville hotel—following his injuries from a skating trick that resulted in ruptured MCL and ACL.

Margera, who is relying on crutches due to a ruptured MCL and ACL, informed TMZ that his fiancee suspected he had gone outside to use drugs, igniting their disagreement.

The 'Jackass' actor is working to change his life after a difficult year filled with legal troubles and drug misuse. He was spotted calling Marie a "f*****g b***h" as they rowed past a Nashville hotel.

In the video, Marie expressed her regret, to which Margera shot back, "If you were sorry you would be crying and hugging me, f*****g b***h! Get a drug test," to which she responded, "I'm sorry and I love you."

Margera then exclaimed, "F**k you, I'm not going anywhere with you" before adding, 'You should be hugging me!"

Stating that Marie was "expressing concern" for him, Margera acknowledged her vigilance and credited her for helping him stay sober.

Approaching six months of recovery, the actor also revealed that he had undergone a urine test that day to assure Marie of his sobriety.

Margera's manager Mike Quinn told TMZ, "Good news, Bam remains sober. The personal incident outside a hotel, involving Bam and his fiancee, Dannii, stemmed from Dannii's concern for Bam's wellbeing."

"This misunderstanding between the couple was resolved positively, as expected moments later. Bam continues to take his regular voluntary urine tests to confirm his sobriety," he added.

Numerous internet trolls have speculated that if the 'Jackass' actor were to be prescribed painkillers after his accident, he might experience a relapse.

A social media user commented on the TMZ post on Facebook, stating, "It's impossible to rescue someone who doesn't want to be rescued. He's been given countless opportunities. Opportunities that most people never receive."

A second one snarked, "Story as old as time- Dannii will be calling his exwife and sharing war stories by the end." [sic]

"Now is about the time he'll disappear and go on social media to blame everyone but himself," added a user.

Another one explained, "So once ur in recovery of an addiction , you can never ever have a normal fight or argument as a couple or with someone in general cause then ur relapsing and using again .......  wel okay then."

One more claimed, "This old tired rinse and repeat reporting again. He is a junky through and through. Always has been always will be. He won't change until he is gone."

While several followers were supporting Bam Margera's recovery, with one commenting, "He’s got to stay strong and not let an argument lead to relapse! Call your sponsor, get to a meeting, and pray."

A second one echoed a similar sentiment and wrote, "There’s a lot of feelings and emotions that are hard to deal with as you’re trying to stay sober. They are not used to dealing with crazy emotions without drugs but big arguments happen sometimes. One day at a time."

"From what he said on his Instagram [sic] he is not popping pills they where [sic] aggravated that they missed two of their flights and the airport didn’t do anything to help them and it all boiled over," one user explained the alleged dispute.
