LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: According to sources, the saga of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez isn't over yet, suggesting it's far from the endgame for Bennifer.

An insider close to the couple recently told ET that despite ongoing speculation about divorce and marriage woes, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are adamant about avoiding divorce.

A source close to the couple, who married in 2022 after eloping to Las Vegas in July, shared with the news outlet that Ben Affleck and his pop star wife are determined to "fix things" in their reportedly troubled marriage.

However, the insider also noted that their marriage is not devoid of any woe, rather they are “dealing with some problems” in their marriage. The fortunate part is, however, that they want to work on their marriage.

Talking to the outlet, the source shared an insight into the differences in the couple’s outlook regarding their lives and said, “Jen has been feeling pressure with all her work commitments and Ben is more chill and doesn't care about Hollywood and the stuff that comes along with it.”

“He feels like ups and downs are part of life and everyone has these moments," added the source highlighting their seemingly different personalities.

Despite tying the knot in July 2022 and celebrating with a reception at Affleck's estate in Riceboro, Georgia, this isn't the couple's first attempt at a relationship together.

Affleck and the Bronx diva first dated in the early 2000s and became engaged in November 2002. However, they called off their engagement in September 2003 due to excessive media attention before ultimately ending their relationship in 2004.

During the pandemic, they rekindled their relationship after giving a shot at second-chance fairytale romance.

The source continued, "They went back into their relationship hoping that any past issues wouldn't repeat themselves, but unfortunately, some of them are.”

While discussing the low points of Bennifer’s marriage, the source said the ‘Good Will Hunting’ star has a lot to deal with currently. They shared, "Ben has been trying to do his best when it comes to his career, co-parenting, and being a good partner, but feels overwhelmed.”

However, they noted, "Ben and Jen don't want to get divorced," before adding, "and are saying they won't, but their relationship is simply not working at this point.”

“They aren't done yet and want to fix things because they love each other, but they are also both unhappy,” added the source.

Earlier the week, another source shared with the same outlet that "Jen and Ben are continuing to take space from each other. They've been having issues for a few months and trying to figure things out on their own."

They also pointed out that apart from an allegedly strained relationship, Lopez is also dealing with problems in her career.

The insider explained, "Jen has been having a hard time dealing with the general stress of life as well as in her career. She has been experiencing ups and downs while processing everything.”

“She has been throwing herself into work, which has always been an outlet for her to stay busy and distracted,” concluded the source.

Though the couple is reportedly facing issues in their marriage and Affleck has moved out of their $60 million Beverly Hills marital mansion to a rented property in Brentwood, California, they are giving sporadic joint appearances.

After initially reuniting for Affleck’s teenage child Fin’s school performance earlier the month, the ‘Gigli’ couple reunited recently for Affleck’s daughter Violet’s graduation party in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 30.

Affleck and the ‘Maid in Manhattan’ star share a large blended family. While the ‘Gone Girl’ actor co-parents his three children - Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12 - with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, Lopez shares her 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Recently, the 'Can't Get Enough' singer canceled her summer shows citing she needs the time to be close to her family. Taking to her On The JLo fan newsletter on Friday, May 31, the pop star announced the cancelation.

The statement read, "Representatives for Live Nation announced today that the Jennifer Lopez US Summer 2024 Tour 'THIS IS ME...LIVE' is canceled, citing ... 'Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends,'" per USA Today.

It was followed by a personal note from Lopez, headlining "A Special Message to My JLovers OnTheJLo." She wrote, "I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again," before adding, "I love you all so much. Until next time..."

The spot lot is too important to them and they live in a fantasy! Marriage is hard, relationships are hard, juggling it all is hard, and it’s hard for everyone!"
