Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez meet celeb divorce lawyer over split that 'has potential to get ugly'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez seem to be working on their divorce agreement as the two were reportedly spotted at their WeHo office building Monday morning, September 23.
The duo was at the location to meet celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser, a month after the singer filed for divorce, as reported by Page Six.
While Lopez arrived for the meeting in a cream midi skirt and a matching long-sleeve top, the 52-year-old actor was not snapped reaching the place.
However, his car was seen outside, confirming his presence.

The estranged pair reportedly began working with Wasser, aka the “disso queen”, long before the 55-year-old actress submitted papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
The ongoing process is believed to be tricky as Affleck and Lopez didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement before their 2022 marriage and a source told PEOPLE earlier this month that it “has the potential to get ugly”.
Reports have also pointed out that Affleck’s production company, Artists Equity, can create huge issues between him and the ‘On The Floor’ singer.
The ‘Gone Girl’ star founded it with his pal Matt Damon in 2022.
Now since the divorce is expected to get finalized in February, he and Lopez, who worked in one of the company’s movies, have to decide if she can receive anything from the firm’s future projects.

But amid the drama, the former lovers are said to be on good terms with each other as they were seen attending a family lunch on September 14.
A mole shared, as per PEOPLE, “They all came together for a fun lunch so the kids could hang out. It makes [Lopez] happy seeing the kids happy together. Happy kids are her priority.”
“They want to show the kids that things are amicable. They want to stay friendly. There’s still a lot of love,” they added.
Besides, a mole had earlier shared, “The kids are a top priority, as they always have been.”
They asserted, “Just because she's [Lopez] not with Ben, doesn't mean that she doesn't care about his kids. She always cared about them… She spent months looking for the perfect house for their blended family last year,” as reported by PEOPLE.
Lopez is the mother of twins Max and Emme Muniz, whom she welcomed in 2008 with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Affleck shares three children — Samuel, 12, Seraphina, 15, and Violet, 18 — with his former wife, Jennifer Garner, whom he divorced in 2018 with the help of Wasser.
