LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck after two years of marriage, the 'Gone Girl' star has reportedly hit the gym to get into the "best possible shape" and be "back on the dating scene."

Though the actor is known to occasionally overindulge in fast food, sources recently revealed that since Lopez filed for divorce, Affleck has been attempting to embrace healthier habits.

Despite his fast food binges, Ben Affleck has lost a significant amount of weight since Lopez filed for divorce, and this has led him to devise a plan to bulk up.

The 'Jenny From The Block' singer, 55, filed for divorce from the 'Argo' actor, 52, on August 20, while mentioning their date of separation as April 26.

An insider revealed to In Touch Weekly, "Ben’s always had this Achilles heel when it comes to his workouts – he keeps up with his cardio and lifts weights at home to keep his upper body tight, mainly because he’s so afraid of letting his pecs turn saggy and developing man boobs."

"But squatting and leg work isn’t his deal at all. He hates it. So, the butt’s droopy as a result and Ben’s kind of buried his head in the sand about the problem until now," they added.

Though the Oscar-winning actor is "changing his mind about it now," the insider added that his recent divorce has made him want to "really buff up and get into the best possible shape – especially now that he’s back on the dating scene."

"So, the trainer’s coming in, the junk’s being phased out, as are the cigarettes, and fixing his rear end is physical priority number one! He may opt for some new tattoos at some point soon, too, but that’s another story," the insider added.

Meanwhile, Lopez was spotted hanging out with Affleck's best friend, Matt Damon, amid their divorce. The singer and the 'Good Will Hunting' actor were spotted engaging into a deep conversation during an after-party for their new movie 'Unstoppable' at the Toronto International Film Festival.

A second source earlier told In Touch Weekly, "'Unstoppable' is a tricky one because Ben and Matt are so invested in its success, even if everything you see indicates that Ben and Jennifer are ending their marriage."

"Right now, Ben plans to support the movie, no matter what’s going on with him and Jennifer. They are business people first, and they’re both committed to supporting this film, even if they’re not committed to their marriage," the second insider added.

Jennifer Lopez reportedly considers buying $55 million Azria Estate in LA amid divorce drama

In the meantime, Jennifer Lopez appeared to make a sizable real estate acquisition following her filing for divorce from Ben Affleck, claimed sources.

Insiders revealed to TMZ on Wednesday, September 11, that the actress-singer, 55, is currently exploring the potential of buying the famed Azria Estate in the luxe Los Angeles neighborhood of Holmby Hills, insiders told TMZ Wednesday.

The A-lister is "close to striking a deal" to buy the 30,000-square foot estate, insiders said to the publication, adding that Lopez is making an offer between $30 and $39 million for the property, which is listed for $55 million.

The residence has 14 bedrooms with opulent features including a home theater and an infinity pool. It is named for the late owner, fashion designer Max Azria, who died in May 2019 at the age of 70.

TMZ further mentioned that there might have been issues with the estate acquisition because billionaire Ron Burkle had won an auction earlier this year by bidding $30 million for the property.

According to insiders, the 'Love Don't Cost a Thing' singer showed interest in buying the property earlier, after her split with Affleck, and she has been to the grounds multiple times in recent weeks.

According to TMZ, Lopez had already visited the estate with Affleck during their house hunt in 2023; it had been the setting for the filming of her most recent movie, 'Atlas.'

Another interesting tidbit revealed is that Lopez's ex Sean "Diddy" Combs recently listed the estate next door for $61 million.

Businessman Sean Parker, designer Tom Ford, and music mogul Jimmy Iovine are among the other famous residents in the neighborhood, per TMZ.
