Jennifer Lopez's revenge dress at TIFF had a 'hidden' message for ex Ben Affleck

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez’s daring “revenge dress” on the Toronto International Film Festival red carpet may have a deeper meaning than what was initially thought. 

As the 55-year-old diva walked the red carpet for the premiere of her film ‘Unstoppable’ at the TIFF, fans started noticing that her tattoo dedicated to Ben Affleck was no longer visible, per Page Six.

Some fans even pointed it out on the Internet that the ‘Jenny From the Block’ singer intentionally opted for the revealing dress to send a not-so-subtle message to her ex-husband Ben Affleck.

After months of speculation, Lopez drew the curtains on Bennifer 2.0 when she filed for divorce from her ex on August 20 - on the second anniversary of their traditional wedding in Georgia. 

Two weeks after the momentous event, the ‘Maid in Manhattan’ star made a head-turning appearance on the TIFF red carpet on September 6, wearing a blingy Tamara Ralph attire which had been tied on two sides with velvet ribbons. 

Fans soon noticed that her last year’s ode to Ben Affleck was, however, missing from her body. 

In February 2023, the actress got inked on the occasion of their first Valentine’s Day as a married couple. 

Lopez opted for a “commitment tattoo” of an infinity sign with “Jennifer” written on one side and “Ben” written on the other. Her tattoo was on her left ribcage. The actress shared a snap of her tattoo on her Instagram as soon as it was done. 

However, during her TIFF appearance, the tattoo was mysteriously no longer in sight, giving rise to speculation whether she had removed the tattoo amid the ongoing divorce drama. 

The real reason behind her tattoo’s disappearance is not known as she has not yet confirmed it, and the tattoo might have been hidden with makeup during her appearance as well. 

When Lopez got inked, Affleck too got a coordinated “commitment” tattoo with his and Lopez’s initials written within two crossed arrows. 

It is, however, not known, whether he retains the tattoo.

The fans over the Internet were, however, left wondering at the mystery of Lopez's missing tattoo. One of the readers commented online, "Lover tattoos are a huge jinxy JINX! Don't do it."

Someone else said, "Here's JLo making a statement directed at soon to be ex husband, hence the point of wearing the revenge dress for this event."

Another disgruntled fan said, "This entire relationship was beyond painful…OWW!"
