Affleck’s exultant mood was seen just a week after Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce, and it inspired a few fans to equate his post-breakup glow with Nicole Kidman’s jubilation after finalizing her divorce from Tom Cruise. 

The ‘Gone Girl’ actor’s estranged wife filed for divorce on Tuesday, August 20, at the Los Angeles County Court after months of speculations of a rift between the duo.

After the actor was speculated to look grumpy in certain photographs during the time leading to his divorce, on Monday, August 26, Page Six published a series of photographs where Affleck was seen flashing a wide grin. 

As the father-of-three accepted a Jack In the Box order from a delivery person, Affleck looked happy and relaxed. Quite poignantly, he was wearing a ‘Nirvana’ T-shirt, which was also noticed by the fans.

Affleck’s apparent act of enjoying his newfound singlehood drew a striking parallel to Nicole Kidman’s iconic moment in 2001 after she finalized her divorce from Tom Cruise.

The ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ actress was famously photographed with her arms raised in celebration as she left her attorney’s office after finalizing the divorce, per Newsweek.

As Ben Affleck's picture looking giddy while receiving the food delivery went viral, fans declared the 'Argo' actor to be in his 'Nicole Kidman era'. They even claimed that he was looking his happiest in the two years of his marriage with Jennifer Lopez.
