Ben Affleck's zipper mishap has fans saying 'it happens' as his attire draws attention amid marriage woes

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fans of Ben Affleck went into a frenzy with many pointing out that the actor's zipper was down in several pictures taken while he was on a shopping trip with his son.

The 51-year-old 'Good Will Hunting' star has been in the spotlight lately because of divorce rumors involving his 54-year-old wife, Jennifer Lopez. 

Ben Affleck spotted with unzipped trousers

The two-time Oscar winner shares three children, Samuel, 12, and daughters Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. 

Affleck was spotted on Monday, May 27, sporting light brown suede shoes, khaki trousers, and a button-up mint green shirt while thrift shopping with his son. 

In addition, he had a flashy watch in his hand and sunglasses hanging from his shirt. But it appears that he forgot to have a good look in the mirror before exiting his house.

The father-son bonding moment appeared to be marred when perceptive Daily Mail readers noticed that the actor seemingly left his pants unzipped as they joked that he had been "interrupted on the toilet."

The actor—who was sighted earlier in May sans his wedding band—was spotted strolling around the streets of Los Angeles with his zipper open.

This comes after sources revealed to PEOPLE Magazine that Lopez is "still living separately" from Affleck, adding that the actress is "very focused on work."

Ben Affleck's wardrobe malfunction attracts mixed reactions

Expressing disgust, one netizen commented, "Ok so he's now walking around with his flies open. This guy is just gross," and another added, "Ben, your pants are unzipped. Second, rumors of strife between Ben and Jennifer Lopez aren't rumors. She's living in the 60 million mansion and Ben is renting another home. Going a second round w/out."

However, others came to the support of the Hollywood star, with one writing, "He probably forgot to zip in the changing room, it can happen to everyone especially as getting older, but most people don't get photographed by paparazzi."

Source reveals Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are 'taking some space' amid rumors of a split

On Tuesday, a source told Us Weekly that Affleck and Lopez have been "taking some space" to decide whether or not the relationship "is right for both of them."

The insider claimed that Affleck has been "checked out" and that he "doesn’t agree with JLo's lifestyle" in addition to feeling "worn down" by the relationship.

They further noted that the couple, who tied the knot in 2022, is no longer in their "honeymoon phase" and that they are "two completely different pages most of the time."

"Both have demanding careers that often require them to be in different cities," spilled the tipster.
