He added that Trump’s faith is clearly reflected in the way he works every day.
Ben Carson reveals Donald Trump said 'God' gives him the strength to keep going
Ben Carson shared with Breitbart that "it is very nice to see" that other members of the administration have been spiritual lately.
In connection to this, he said, “I mean, even you look at the difference in President Trump since the Butler incident," noting Trump's newfound faith.
“And that’s largely because I think his faith has increased. I asked him several months ago. I said, ‘You’re 79 years old’ at that time, he was 78, I said, ‘You’re 78 years old. Most people that age are kind of settling back in the rocking chair, and you’re going like crazy all day and all night. Where are you getting all this energy from? And he said, ‘God,'” Carson revealed.

“I don’t think he would have said that a year or two ago,” Carson mentioned that this discussion took place in the office shortly after Trump’s election victory.
“We were at Mar-a-Lago, and just he and I were talking,” he said. Carson also pointed out that the president’s recent actions clearly reflect this. He also shares that Trump has been very supportive of religious freedom, particularly concerned about attacks on Christians, and has been strongly backing the Christian community.
“He’s been very supportive of religious liberty and is very much interested in the attacks on Christians in particular and has been incredibly supportive of that community,” he said, adding that he believes this is a “revival at all levels, from the top to the bottom."
“And I think you’re going to see it increase,” he predicted.

While speaking at the White House Religious Liberty Commission at the Museum of the Bible, Trump reflected on the 2016 prediction, recalling a private prediction from Ben Carson.
"He was a very tough opponent," Trump said. "We were fighting it out, and we had actually 18 candidates, including me. And Ben came up to me right after the first debate. He said, ‘You know you're going to win, don't you?’"
Trump added, "And I said, ‘No, I don't know that. I think I'm going to win, but I don't know it. I had never done it before. They had all done it. They were all governors and senators, talented people. He said, ‘No, you're going to win it, because God wants you to win it.’ Right?"
