MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: It was revealed on March 12 that Robert F Kennedy Jr, an independent presidential candidate, is gearing up to unveil his choice for a running mate in the upcoming weeks.

Jimmy Kimmel noted, "Robert F Kennedy Jr the noted antivaxx conspiracy theorist with a famous last name said he will soon announce his running mate."

"The New York Times is reporting that his finalists for vice president include quarterback Aaron Rodgers and former governor of Minnesota Jesse 'The Body' Ventura," the host added.

"He’s also considering a pair of truck nuts dipped in Ivermectin," remarked Jimmy Kimmel, openly expressing his disbelief at the notion of any of these individuals occupying the West Wing, as per The Independent.

"Kennedy said he says he's been speaking with Rogers pretty continuously about this for the past month. Oh that would be some good decision-making right there," Kimmel observed, adding, "Aaron Rodgers and Jesse Ventura are not running mates," quipped Kimmel.

"They are who the bookers on 'The Masked Singer' call when Rob Schneider says no," he added. 

To add context, Rodgers and Kimmel have a clear disagreement between them—and it's not solely due to the Super Bowl XLV MVP's strong endorsement of conspiracy theories, such as his rumored belief that the 2012 Sandy Hook shootings were fabricated.

In January, Rodgers hinted that Kimmel might have reason to worry about a forthcoming list unveiling close associates of Jeffrey Epstein. Kimmel, however, claimed ignorance regarding Rodgers' reference, and upon the list's release, Kimmel's name was notably absent.

Despite expressing readiness to receive an apology from Rodgers, Kimmel accurately anticipated it would not be forthcoming. Meanwhile, Rodgers has refuted any suggestion that he implied wrongdoing on Kimmel's part.

"You don't have to respond to that," Kimmel quipped. "Just something to think about."
