Beyonce accused of copying Taylor Swift as she releases 'Cowboy Carter Art Book': 'Obsession is unreal'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Beyonce may not be jumping into an upcoming ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour but she is not leaving her fans wanting more visuals of her.
The ‘Crazy in Love’ singer’s Parkwood Entertainment recently revealed that Beyonce is releasing 'Cowboy Carter Art Book' containing exclusive, never-before-seen images inspired by her 2024 album ‘Cowboy Carter’, per USA Today.

Taking to their official Instagram handle on Sunday, December 1, Parkwood revealed that her new book was available for pre-order for $74. Nevertheless, at the time of writing, the book was sold out even if it is only in pre-order stage.
While Beyonce’s fans are rejoicing, another section of the Internet - mostly Swifties - called her out for allegedly copying Taylor Swift’s recently released ‘Eras Tour Book’ which contains multiple pictures of the pop megastar.
Swifties’ ‘Bad Blood’ with Beyonce
This is, however, not the first time in recent past that Beyonce has been criticized by Swifties.

After Billboard named Taylor Swift to be the runner up at their Greatest Pop Star of 21st Century list, several netizens verbally attacked the ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ singer after anticipating her to hold the topmost position.
The outrage, in turn, again started a viral #Swiftieracism trend where the Beyhive swarmed in to respond to the alleged racist criticism hurled at the ‘Halo’ singer by Swifties.
It is noteworthy here, that though Swifties and Beyhive are often at loggerheads with each other, the two pop divas, in real life, respect each other. While Swift extended a warm welcome to Beyonce during her ‘Eras Tour’ movie premiere, Beyonce too did the same when the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer was a guest at her ‘Renaissance: A Film’ screening.

Swifties once again took to social media to criticize Beyonce's idea of publishing a 'Cowboy Carter' art book, saying that she was "copying" Taylor Swift. However, the Beyhive too chimed in while defending their idol, noting that it is not the first time that she is publishing a book.
One of the Swifties claimed, "Always following Taylor💀💀💀."
Someone else added, "Can she stop copying taylor please…the obsession is unreal."
"These birds copy every word every inch," added another Swiftie with vitriol.
"Taylor has always been a blueprint," noted another fan of the 'Cassandra' singer.
Someone else chimed in, "Omg copycat."
"Not even kidding but taylor needs to get a restraining order atp. it’s actually scary 💀💀," observed another fan while blaming Beyonce for copying Swift's book idea.

Someone else subtly mocked, "And i wonder where she got this idea from."
"Embarrassing. She wants to be Taylor so bad 😭," said someone else.
Another user added, "Hmm, after Taylor Swift released something similar. Feels like a competition. What do I know?"

However, Beyonce's fans were also not letting the slander against their idol go without a strong opposition. One of the fans said, "I’m actually soooo excited about this. (cowboy carter didn’t have a tour, this isn’t copying taylor, and having a book to commemorate a tour isn’t something only taylor has done so pls miss me with that)."

"Before swiftikas get brave," said someone else before adding, "In August 2017, Beyoncé released ‘How to Make Lemonade’ , an expansive 600-page book in honour of her most personal, political, unapologetically honest, and arguably best album Lemonade."
