As Beyonce grooved to the melody, several athletes from the gymnastics team, including Sha’Carri Richardson and Katie Ledecky, also joined.
The Grammy-winning singer went on to give a shoutout to the American stars who have brought glory in the past including Simone Biles.
She said, “That pride and that joy, that’s what gets me about this team and that’s what makes me believe in this team,” while basking in the patriotic glow, “And that’s why I can’t wait to see what they pull off over these next 16 days. America, give it up for Team USA. The very best of who we are.”
