As reported by the New York Post, CBS sports analyst Romo provided insight into his consistent reference to Swift as the star tight end's wife during Chiefs games this season.

Romo clarified during a CBS Sports media session that the 'Taylor Swift 'wife'' remark was intended as "a joke." According to the New York Post, he explained, “Someone did that to me back in the day. … People come up to me all the time, ‘What do you know?’ People love it and go crazy for it."

Expanding on his perspective, Romo stated, "It’s Taylor. She’s just as big a personality as anybody in the world right now. I think it’s a great thing that she’s at football games. I think it just adds value, and I think our team does it the right way. … It just comes out organically.”

Swift's consistent presence at Chiefs games, showing support for her boyfriend Kelce, has become a regular sight. Romo has playfully referred to Swift as Kelce's wife on two occasions, leading fans to speculate that he might have done that on purpose.
