Billy Baldwin recalls how brother Alec teased him for having 3 children despite having 8 himself
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Alec Baldwin once teased his older brother William 'Billy' Baldwin over how many children he had.
But when Alec later found himself with even more children of his own, Billy had the chance to roast him right back.
Billy Baldwin recalls Alec Baldwin's reaction to his third child
Billy Baldwin recalled the moment Alec Baldwin joked about his growing family, only to have the tables turn when Alec expanded his brood.
"I remember when he made fun of me when Chynna and I were pregnant with our third child," Billy told the New York Post while promoting his new film 'No Address' on Monday, February 17.
"He said, ‘What are you, dad?’ Because my mother and father had six kids," Billy said.
Billy and his wife, Chynna Phillips, married in 1995 and share three children: daughters Brooke, 20, and Jameson, 24, and son Vance, 24.
Their parents, Carol and Alexander Baldwin, had six children: Billy Baldwin, Alec Baldwin, Steve Baldwin, 58, Daniel Baldwin, 64, Elizabeth Baldwin, 69, and Jane Baldwin, 60.
Billy Baldwin jokes Alec Baldwin became 'Anthony Quinn'
Alec Baldwin was previously married to Kim Basinger from 1993 to 2002 and they share a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, 29.
After marrying Hilaria Baldwin in 2012, Alec's family grew significantly.
"And then he got married again and he had child three, four, five, six," Billy recalled. "And I said, ‘What are you Anthony Quinn?'" Billy recalled.
Billy referenced the legendary actor Anthony Quinn who had a child at 82.
"That’s a joke because there is an actor, Anthony Quinn, who when he was [82] had a child," he added. "Tony Randall had a child at like 75."
Alec and Hilaria have seven children together: Carmen, 11, Rafael, nine, Leonardo, eight, Romeo, six, Eduardo and Marilu, four, and Ilaria, two. The couple is set to debut their new TLC reality show, 'The Baldwins,' on Sunday, February 23.
Billy Baldwin says parenthood changes everything
Billy Baldwin reflected on how becoming a parent transformed his life. "My life was never the same," he said.
"I never really slept the same. You don’t really sleep the same," Billy added.

"Your kids go out on a sleepover, or they are 14 and go out to a party, and you’re sort of sitting in bed and your eyes are closed and you’re asleep, but it ain’t the old sleep!" Billy said.
