Billy Baldwin slams old pal RFK Jr over treatment of his late wife Mary: 'She might still be with us'
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Billy Baldwin shared his thoughts on his old friend, Robert F Kennedy Jr, and criticized him for his alleged treatment of his late wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy.
Once good friends, Baldwin and RFK Jr's relationship has fizzled out lately and the actor currently "disavows and dissociates" himself from Kennedy Jr, according to Daily Beast.

Our friendship didn't end when he abandoned his political integrity for Trump.
It ended when his lovely wife Mary died.
Had he protected her during that difficult time she might still be with us.
And as his cousin Caroline stated, he's a "predator."

Baldwin took to X on Wednesday, January 29 evening, hours after Kennedy’s confirmation hearing for his health secretary nomination. He wrote, "Bobby Kennedy was my friend. Our friendship didn't end when he abandoned his political integrity for Trump."
He added, "It ended when his lovely wife Mary died. Had he protected her during that difficult time she might still be with us. And as his cousin Caroline stated, he's a 'predator'."
While Baldwin and Kennedy had been friends for decades, the 'Fair Game' actor stated in a 2024 lengthy X post that their relationship has fizzled out and that he "completely" disavows and dissociates himself from Kennedy.

He mentioned, "His endorsement of Trump demonstrates his political cowardice. He has sold his political soul and desecrated the historic work and legacy of his father Robert and his uncle President John Kennedy."
Billy Baldwin's earlier post slamming RFK Jr for mistreating late wife
This isn't the first time Baldwin has commented publicly on Kennedy’s relationship with his late wife Mary. In a 2023 post, he claimed that if Kennedy had been "half a man" then Mary "would still be alive today".
He wrote on X sharing a photo of RFK Jr and Mary, "This is Mary Richardson Kennedy. Robert Kennedy’s 2nd wife and mother to four of his six children. She was an incredible woman. A wonderful mother, wife, and activist. Sadly she is no longer with us."

He continued, "She cried on my shoulder about Bobby numerous times at their former home on Bedford Road, my former home on Chestnut Ridge Road, at the Canaan Ridge School and the Saw Mill Club."
Baldwin concluded the post, "If Bobby were half a man she would still be alive today. It will all come out. His campaign will be over in weeks. If these walls could talk."
Mother Jones magazine published an explosive report on Tuesday, January 28, and detailed secret recordings RFK Jr made of conversations he had with his late wife throughout their divorce.
In a June 2011 recording, Kennedy could be heard telling his wife that the reason he cheated on her several times as he was being "abused at home", per the outlet.
Moreover, the recordings were reportedly used in a 60-page affidavit that accused Richardson of abuse, excessive drinking, violent outbursts, and threatening suicide in front of their children.
