LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In the wake of Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, her fans have unearthed a video of the actress avoiding talking about her ‘It Ends With Us’ co-star and director during the movie's promotional tour.

The 37-year-old ‘Gossip Girl’ actress recently filed a lawsuit against her co-star accusing him of creating a toxic work environment on the sets of ‘It Ends With Us’, along with trying to launch a smear campaign against her after the film was released.

However, soon after her lawsuit, an old video from August went viral online where the actress avoided talking about Baldoni when asked about building trust with him as a scene partner, per LadBible.

As 'It Ends With Us' was doing eclectic business in theaters in August, Blake Lively sat for an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment where she was asked about her experience working with the ‘Jane the Virgin’ star.

As she was asked about her views on "building trust" with him as a scene partner, the ‘Sisterhood of Traveling Pants’ actress completely avoided mentioning his name, and said, “I mean, this movie was such a challenge because you have scenes that are deeply painful and traumatic and physical, but you also have scenes that are full of levity and light and romance."

She continued, “And normally, when I see this type of character like Ryle on screen, you know what’s going to happen, and you’re like, ‘Ah, that guy’s full of red flags'."

In the movie, while Lively essayed the character of florist Lily Blossom Bloom, Baldoni portrayed the dashing neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid.

While she made a careful effort to avoid taking Baldoni’s name, she praised the novel’s author Colleen Hoover, saying, “But the way that Colleen wrote Ryle, I think, is just so—I think that’s why the story resonates with so many, is [because] you get why Lily stays.”

She added, “You get why Lily chooses to believe a different reality because you’re watching her in realtime. You, too, are going like, ‘I know what I just saw, but I don’t want to…maybe I didn’t just see that.’ That is the magic of this film is, is how she how she made these characters so, so winning.”

Justin Baldoni's awkward interview also resurfaces

If you think Blake Lively's interview about Justin Baldoni only resurfaced in the wake of the controversy, you might be wrong, as following the lawsuit, the 'Five Feet Apart' actor's interview about the actress also resurfaced and gained traction online.

Earlier this month, during an interview with E! News, the actor was asked to share his experience of working with the mother-of-four.

He could be seen taking a pause before responding, “As I've said before, Blake is so creative and she works so hard."

He added, “This movie would not have been the same without her.”

Further, when he was asked about the possibility of a sequel, he took some time to compose his answer. After a moment, he said, "You know I've been hearing the sequel conversations. You know people ask me all the time about sequels."

“We are in this place where we are…....Just trying to be in the moment," said Baldoni.

He concluded by saying, “I'm just overwhelmed with gratitude for the lives that this has impacted and the lives that this has changed. So we're not even thinking about a sequel right now.”
