LONDON, ENGLAND: Blake Lively's decision to set aside a fan-gifted bracelet during the press junket for 'It Ends With Us' has sparked online discussion about her gracious gesture.

The actress, who was promoting the film in a stunning silver gown, chose not to wear the bracelet as it didn’t match her outfit, while her co-star Isabela Ferrer embraced the gift immediately.

This moment comes amid ongoing rumors of tension between Lively and her co-star/director Justin Baldoni, as well as controversy surrounding the film’s press tour.

Blake Lively says she is going to ‘put away’ the bracelet amid fans’ sweet gesture

During her press junket for 'It Ends With Us', Blake Lively chose not to wear a friendship bracelet given to her by a fan at the August 8 UK screening, as it didn’t match her outfit

A TikTok video shared via AlloCine captured the moment when Lively received the gift.

“Oh my gosh, thank you so much,” she said gratefully, before adding, “I'm going to put it [away] because it doesn't go with my outfit but I will wear it later.” She also noted that the gesture was “so sweet.”

The mother of four was dressed in a glamorous silver, strapless gown adorned with multicolor floral details and a coral-pink feather boa.

The gesture of Lively, who does not typically work with stylists, was in contrast to her co-star Isabela Ferrer.

Ferrer, who plays the younger version of Lively’s character Lily Bloom, immediately donned the bracelet, exclaiming, “Thank you! Oh my god, I’m going to put it on. Thank you so much!”

Internet says Blake lively 'was not ungracious at all'

After Blake Lively declined to wear a fan-gifted bracelet at the UK screening, many users have expressed support for her decision, emphasizing that it is ultimately her personal choice.

One of Blake's fans wrote, “Personal choice, not everyone wears gifts given for many reason.”

Another added, “She was not ungracious at all.  She expressed surprise at the gift; said it was cute and  that she would wear it later. Nothing to see here.  Move on.”

The third said, “Why should she put it on? Didn’t your parents ever teach you not to take things from strangers? She accepted it (graciously), and moved along.”

“Come on now with the silly jabs. Good for her for not wearing it,” someone else stated

The last asserted, “The woman is wearing a dress with a huge boa on the red carpet. How can she put the bracelet on?”

Blake Lively is rumored to be in a feud with her 'It Ends With Us' co-star and director Justin Baldoni. The actress has also faced criticism online, including backlash from a resurfaced 2016 interview that left a journalist feeling uncomfortable.

'It Ends With Us', based on Colleen Hoover’s novel, explores Lily’s tumultuous relationship with Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni) and has already proven to be a box office success since its August 9 release. However, the film's press tour has been marred by speculation about on-set tensions and strained relationships between Lively and Baldoni.

Lively and Baldoni reportedly avoided each other at the New York City premiere, and various reports have painted both stars in a negative light.

Bethenny Frankel has also weighed in, suggesting that Lively’s simultaneous promotion of the film, along with her haircare and cocktail ventures, has upset fans.

“This is a very sensitive subject matter,” Frankel explained.

“Promoting a cocktail brand and a haircare product and talking so much in a lighthearted way about a topic that for most people, but women in particular, is not a lighthearted topic... you are all a very savvy audience, and it's just not sitting well. That's what I think is going on.”
