LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Barstool personalities Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards sparked social media frenzy after they released their diss track 'Smallest Man', aimed squarely at country star Zach Bryan.

Fans and followers were eagerly awaited the midnight release, after the duo teased the track on their podcast, 'BFFs'. With a heavy dose of hip-hop bravado, the song takes numerous swipes at Bryan, referencing his past relationship with Brianna 'Chickenfry' LaPaglia, a fellow co-host.

The parody video features Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, dressed as police officers, who pull over a man that looks like Zach Bryan.

While the original video has been taken down from YouTube following a copyright complaint reportedly filed by Bryan's label, WME, it continues to make rounds on X (formerly Twitter), where fans and critics alike are weighing in on the parody’s humor and implications.

Despite the takedown, the parody song remains available on other streaming platforms.

In the final verse of the song, they share their own take on “28", a piece Bryan had originally penned for him and Brianna when they feared their dog Boston might be seriously ill. Thankfully, Boston turned out to be fine.

Bryan mentioned he wrote these lyrics as he and Brianna looked back on how fortunate they were that everything had worked out, and their little family was safe and together at home.

The modified chorus includes the biting lines, “How lucky is Bri to be rid of ZB and his STDs,” repeating the phrase in what many see as a jab at Bryan’s personal life.

Bryan was married to Rose Madden for one year from 2020 to 2021. He then dated Deb Peifer soon after and they were together for two years before breaking up in May 2023. Bryan started dating Brianna in July of that year.

But on October 22 this year, Bryan confirmed his and Brianna’s breakup on his Instagram Stories. Following his announcement, Brianna released her own statement and a YouTube video, saying she felt “blindsided” by the post.

While reacting to the diss track 'Smallest Man', Brianna shared her thoughts on Instagram Story, “Goodnight. You two are absolutely bat s**t crazy. But I do pray my daughter has friends like you both one day.”

Since the split, Portnoy hasn’t shied away from expressing his dislike for Bryan, who once banned him from a concert during the couple's relationship. He said, “I was never a liker. How do you like that? I was never a liker…"

"I think he’s a fraud. Every time I met him I was not comfortable with him. Certain guys where you’re like, ‘Ok I kinda like this guy, he’s a gives good vibes guy.’ This guy never gave that vibe to me,” he further said.

In the diss track, Portnoy and Richards air their grievances, delving into personal details from Bryan’s alleged infidelities to his behavior post-breakup.

The diss track pulls no punches, taking aim at Bryan’s personal life and reputation in a series of bold lyrics. Referencing everything- from his first marriage to his alleged use of the dating app Raya post-breakup - Portnoy and Richards leave little unsaid, per WhiskeyRiff.

“You say you remember everything, I guess not because you forgot about your wedding ring. This ain’t a subtweet, I ain’t coming subliminal, you’re great at being country without a second syllable. My fist plus your face, simple addition The way you did her wrong, man is sickening," goes the lyrics of the diss track.
