LAS VEGAS: Britney Spears made a triumphant return to Las Vegas over the holidays, marking her comeback to the Entertainment Capital of the World five months after an incident that made headlines.

The 42-year-old pop superstar spent a few days in Sin City, staying at both Resorts World and Aria, as reported by TMZ.

During her visit, Britney was spotted on the casino floor at The Wynn, where she enjoyed a beer and was accompanied by a security detail. The singer attended the show 'Awakening' at The Wynn and later dined at Lakeside, the hotel's seafood restaurant.

Britney also took the opportunity to explore the new Fontainebleau property, checked out LIV club, and had an exclusive visit to the members-only club, Poodle Room.

A video posted online captured Britney's Vegas adventure, featuring her in a long-sleeve sparkling silver dress and brown boots, with her signature blonde hair styled in light curls.

The singer's presence in Las Vegas was particularly notable, given that it followed an incident in July where a security guard allegedly slapped her while attempting to take a photo with NBA star Victor Wembanyama.

Pop icon Britney Spears was allegedly backhanded by a security guard while attempting to interact with NBA star Victor Wembanyama. The incident occurred five months ago but has resurfaced due to Spears' return to Las Vegas over the holidays.

Britney, accompanied by her now-estranged husband Sam Asghari, approached Wembanyama, exclaiming "sir, sir, sir!" in a British accent before tapping him on the shoulder.

The security guard, identified as Damian Smith, allegedly backhanded her, causing her glasses to fall off. The Las Vegas Police Department's investigation concluded that Spears hit herself in the face after the security guard pushed her hand away.

Following the investigation, no charges were filed against the security guard. Wembanyama disputed Britney's account at a press conference, suggesting she tried to grab him from behind.

Britney rejected these claims, sharing a statement on Instagram where she insisted she merely "tapped him on the shoulder." She expressed her motivation for speaking out, emphasizing the importance of setting an example and treating all people with respect.

Britney, now seeking an apology, condemned the guard's actions as "dangerous and disgusting."

A source close to the singer highlighted the potential severity of the situation, questioning what the outcome might have been if the incident involved a child or a handicapped person seeking an autograph. The source suggested that such actions would warrant arrest and prison time.
