Britney Spears' ex Sam Asghari backs her reunion with sons: 'I wish her nothing but the best'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sam Asghari has shared his support for Britney Spears following her recent emotional reunion with her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. The actor and model, who separated from the pop star in 2023, offered a supportive and mature perspective during a recent media appearance.
Reflecting on Spears' long-standing family challenges, Asghari said he was happy to see her reunite with her sons. He wished the 'Baby One More Time' singer well and had nothing but praise for Sean Preston and Jayden.
Just weeks after her DUI arrest earlier this year, Spears shared the emotional reunion with her two sons.

During an interview with E! News, Asghari openly shared his thoughts on his former wife reconnecting with her children. Rather than shying away from the topic, he responded positively.
"You want to be able to reconnect with your family," Asghari said. "I wish her nothing but the best and love. She has amazing boys," he continued.
The actor went on to reflect on the broader value of maintaining strong relationships, noting that time apart should not dictate the future of a mother and her children. "Nothing has ever changed the way that my mentality is," he said. "I've always been the same person. I always tackled the same situations in life with the same mentality.”
His supportive comments come at a significant time, providing a sense of mutual respect between the exes as Spears continues to repair her relationship with Sean Preston and Jayden following years of distance.
Britney Spears' reunion with her sons comes weeks after DUI arrest
The family reunion comes after a recent legal issue for Spears. In March, she was arrested in Ventura after police reportedly saw her car swerving between lanes. Authorities also said they found an unidentified substance in her vehicle and believed she was not fit to drive. Spears was released the next morning, but the case is still being reviewed by prosecutors.
A spokesperson for the Ventura County District Attorney's Office said, "The DUI case against Britney Spears has been submitted to the Ventura County District Attorney's Office and is under review by our prosecutors."
The spokesperson added, "Part of that review might include seeking additional information and evidence. A filing decision will be made before the scheduled May 4, 2026, court date."
"Her sons are with her right now. They love her and want to support her and just want her to feel better," a source close to the singer revealed.
The insider also told People that Spears is "devastated" by the arrest, adding that the situation "has scared the crap out of her.”
