Benny Blanco sails to London for Selena Gomez's birthday due to his fear of flying
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Benny Blanco, who has a fear of flying, has shared in a social media post that he’s traveling by ship to London to meet his wife, Selene Gomez, for her birthday.
The actress, who will be turning 34 on July 22, has currently been in the UK capital as she’s working on the upcoming sixth season of ‘Only Murders In the Building'.

On July 16, Blanco posted a TikTok video that showed him sitting on the boat as he wrote, “POV: ur traveling across the atlantic in the titanic to see ur wife bc ur scared of flying.”

The 38-year-old also added that “the things we do for love.”
Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez are in a long-distance relationship
Blanco and Gomez have been married since September last year. But lately, they have been in a long-distance relationship due to work.
The couple, however, united briefly for the July 3 wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

Meanwhile, two years ago, Blanco had revealed a very interesting story regarding his aerophobia that included Ed Sheeran as well.
During an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, in April 2024, the recipient of the 2013 Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame said, “I don't fly. I took a boat to Europe.”
“I literally take the Titanic to Europe. It's the same boat — when you're on the boat, like day three, they're like, 'This is where the Titanic sank.' And you're just in the middle of no where,” he explained.
Blanco then added jokingly that he and Sheeran “watched Titanic in bed cuddling on the fourth night. I swear.”

The two worked on ‘Divide’ on the same boat, as Blanco told Fallon, “Ed's so nice. He's the nicest guy in the world. They gave us a room to write it in. It was the same room that... There was a daytime pianist that was like an 85-year-old woman. She would come in to practice everyday and had no idea who either one of us was. She was like, 'Hey, it's my time to practice.’”
“We'd be in the middle of writing like 'Perfect' or 'Happier.' Ed is so nice he would sit there and wait. She was a great pianist, I'll tell you. She didn't know anyone. I loved her,” he added.
