Britney Spears accuses the paparazzi of being extremely 'mean and cruel' to her

In the video, Britney Spears shared, "It really kind of hurts my feelings that the paparazzi make my face look like I’m wearing like a white Jason mask. It doesn’t even look like me. They’ve always been incredibly cruel to me, the paparazzi and pictures and the way they’ve illustrated me to be in some of it"

The 'Toxic' singer also mentioned that she knows she's "not perfect at all by any means" but the way she was treated by the paparazzi was "extremely mean and cruel."

"And that's why I've moved to Mexico," claimed Spears.

E! News reported that the 'Oops!... I Did It Again' hitmaker landed in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico on her birthday, wearing a white trench coat, a pair of sunglasses, and a black hat.

In another video posted on the same day, she declared that she was "turning 5 this year. I'm turning 5 years old, and I have to go to kindergarten tomorrow."

Britney Spears is now legally single

However, Britney Spears' move to Mexico was not the only big thing that happened on her birthday.

On the day, the Grammy winner was declared legally single following her divorce from Sam Asghari in August 2023.

Though the former couple settled their divorce in May this year, their marital status officially ended on December 2 after the required six-month waiting period.
