LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Pop star Britney Spears has fired back at her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, over what she called “harmful claims” in his upcoming memoir 'You Thought You Knew'. The singer took to X on Thursday, October 16, sharing a long emotional post criticizing Federline for exploiting her pain and manipulating the truth for sympathy.

Britney Spears predicts Kevin Federline’s book will outsell hers

Spears called out Federline for being “angry” and emotionally manipulative, writing, “Why is HE SO ANGRY... and what’s scary is he’s convincing. It literally blows my mind — the moments he stops before he cries — are you f***ing serious?”

She added that she believes his book will “sell loads more” than her 2023 memoir ‘The Woman in Me’, which chronicled her personal struggles and life under public scrutiny.

Britney Spears says love shouldn’t come with humiliation

The ‘Toxic’ hitmaker said that Federline was humiliating her while claiming to care about her, writing, “If you really love someone, then you don’t help them by humiliating them. What scared me was how serious and angry he got — people have no idea, it is way worse than anyone could imagine.”
