Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz skipped David Beckham’s 50th birthday amid family rift
The rift between Brooklyn and the Beckham family has reportedly deepened over the years.
According to reports, it began during Brooklyn and Nicola’s Palm Beach wedding in April 2022 when the latter decided not to wear a dress by her mother-in-law Victoria, as originally planned.

Things worsened when Nicola’s father launched legal action against the wedding planners, accusing them of failing to meet expectations.
The planners responded with a countersuit claiming that Nicola and her mother didn’t want Brooklyn’s family to know how chaotic the process had become.
A source told Page Six that Brooklyn and Nicola “never go to [Beckham] family events anymore” and have avoided visiting David and Victoria.
Most recently, they were absent from both of David’s star-studded 50th birthday celebrations in May.
The couple also had dinner with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in California, which left David and Victoria “blindsided” and “furious,” according to Daily Mail sources.

One insider claimed Meghan and Nicola had a “heart-to-heart” and bonded over being accused by critics of “tearing apart their husbands’ families.”
Internet tells Brooklyn Beckham to ‘build bridges’ and reconcile with parents David and Victoria

After Brooklyn Beckham’s tribute to his wife Nicola Peltz's late grandmother, several users on social media pointed to his fractured relationship with his parents.
“What about your own grandparents???” asked one person in the Instagram comments.
Another wrote, “I hope one day you don't post this about one of your parents..it's never too late. They love you unconditionally..a love like no other.”
“Brooklyn- you should never have to choose your family or happiness. Choose both. You are making a terrible error not building bridges. I am sure you feel you have reasons but as this post demonstrates, life is too short,” said one person.
“First, take care of your parents after that, your wife’s grandparents,” commented another.
“Think about contacting the living than the dead,” one individual added.
“Shame you didn’t have the good grace to wish your own father Happy Birthday. You should be ashamed of yourself,” said one. “C’mon man call your dad !!!” pleaded another.
