LONDON, UK: Buckingham Palace has a very strong response to Prince Harry after he did a new interview, making shocking statements about the royal family.

The Palace stated on May 2 after the Duke of Sussex sat down with the BBC after losing his legal appeal to reinstate the state-funded security, which he claimed was stripped after he and Meghan Markle left the UK for the US in 2020.

Buckingham Palace hits back at Prince Harry

A representative of Buckingham Palace said, as reported by PEOPLE, “All of these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion reached on each occasion.”

Dismissing Harry’s appeal on May 2, Judge Sir Geoffrey Vos said, “The Duke was, in effect, stepping in and out of the cohort of protection provided by RAVEC [the government’s Royal and VIP Executive Committee].

“Outside the UK, he was outside the cohort, but when in the U.K., his security would be considered as appropriate depending on the circumstances,” the judge stated.

“It was impossible, I said in my judgment, to say that this reasoning was illogical or inappropriate. Indeed, it seemed sensible,” he added.

Vos also supported RAVEC's decision, calling it “understandable and perhaps predictable”.

Prince Harry ‘would love reconciliation with’ royal family

Hours after the judgement, Prince Harry spoke with the BBC, where he claimed to be “devastated”.

He also mentioned that he “can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point.”

“There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family. This current situation that has been ongoing for five years with regards to human life and safety is the sticking point; it is the only thing that's left,” the father-of-two noted.

“Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book, of course they will never forgive me for lots of things. But you know there is, I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point in continuing to fight anymore, as I said life is precious. I don't know how much longer my father has, he won't speak to me because of this security stuff but it would be nice to reconcile,” he explained, as per the Daily Mail.

Though Prince Harry denied to ask any favor from his father, King Charles, in the case, he asserted, “There is a lot of control and ability in my father's hand, ultimately this whole thing could be resolved through him not necessarily by intervening but by stepping aside allowing the experts to do what is necessary and to carry out an RMB.”

Elsewhere during the interview, Harry also stated that since he “decided to remove myself eventually from the institution, my life got devalued from the highest score to the lowest score overnight.”

He even shared that he failed to understand why “wasn't I put through the same risk management board that everybody else was put through, including members of my family?”

Addressing his current security arrangements, the 40-year-old said, “I would not have taken this this far if I did not have compelling evidence of facts that reveal why the decision was made and I am sitting here today talking to you, where we have lost the appeal, but the other side have won in keeping me unsafe, so again there is a lot of question marks that a lot of people will have.”

“I have uncovered my worst fears,” Harry claimed.
