Bryan Cranston says the tattoo reminds him of 'times we had on the wonderful show'

Speaking about the tattoo he got with Paul to celebrate their last time together on the production of 'Breaking Bad', Cranston said, "The last day of production, 11 years ago, I got a tattoo on my hand."

"But you can't see it, because [as] an actor, I don't want to have it shown. But I did get it right there," he added.

The 67-year-old actor then flashed the inside of his right ring finger toward the camera as he showed the logo 'Br Ba' of the AMC series.

"It's the symbol for 'Breaking Bad' and someone said, 'Why put it there? No one else can see it,'" the actor noted.

"And I said, 'Well, it's not really for someone else. It's for me. And when I catch it, I remember the times we had on this wonderful show,'" he explained.

Aaron Paul inked a 'Breaking Bad' reference to commemorate the series

Paul, who played Jesse Pinkman, also commemorated the show with a tattoo on his bicep which read the quote "No half measures," a reference to the show's season 3 episode, 'Half Measures.'

In the series created by Vince Gilligan, Cranston portrayed high school chemistry teacher who transforms into drug lord White, while Paul played his former student who eventually becomes a drug dealer and cohort Pinkman.

The duo who have maintained a close friendship since the show ended in 2013 have each become recipients of numerous Emmy awards for their roles in the series.

In 2013, Cranston and Paul delighted fans by reprising their iconic characters for a Super Bowl ad spot.

Cranston is also godfather to Paul's son Ryden and the two have ventured into a mezcal business called Dos Hombres.

"I love the guy, and so I keep harassing him and he keeps answering my calls for some reason," Paul jokingly remarked about his friendship with Cranston.

"I know and I've fallen in love with his children, more than you, I must say, honestly," Cranston reciprocated the sentiment.

"I think of seeing them and talking to them and holding them and it's like, 'Oooh,'" he added. "Yeah, yeah, they love him so much," confirmed Paul, according to ET
