Bryce Dallas Howard honors Sam Neill with heartfelt throwback video of 'Jurassic Park' cast
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bryce Dallas Howard has shared her heartfelt tribute after the death of her ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ co-star Sam Neill.
The ‘Peaky Blinders’ actor died on Monday, July 13, at the age of 78. He had battled cancer in the past but was free of the disease at the time of his death.

After his passing, Howard took to Instagram, where she posted a video of him alongside Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum, who also starred in the 2022 movie. The social media clip showed the three singing ‘Blackbird’ by the Beatles at a piano as Goldblum played it.
Another slide in the post featured a selfie of the 45-year-old actress with Neill, who played Dr Alan Grant in the franchise film.

In his honor, Howard wrote, “Sam. When we lived together in that little bubble for Jurassic World Dominion, in a hotel seven minutes from set, for four and a half months, I said that if anyone was going to go through a pandemic together, I was so glad it was with you. I still am.”
She went on to describe the New Zealand actor as “funny, warm, wickedly self-deprecating, endlessly kind,” as well as a “beautiful human being”.
‘The Help’ actress continued in her emotional post that Neill was passionate about life and loved “his family, his pets, his farm. He was a friend to everyone.”

“I’m so sad for the world today, but especially for those who got to see him every day. He lit up every room he walked into and made the experience of being human feel dazzling,” she noted.
Concluding her post, Howard added, “My heart is with his family and everyone who loved him. And truly, everyone did. I love you, Sam. I miss you. I love you.”
Laura Dern calls Sam Neill 'my beloved lifetime friend'
Dern, who played Neill’s interest Dr Ellie Sattler in the ‘Jurassic Park’ films, also paid tribute to him.
The 59-year-old actress posted multiple photos of herself with the late star on social media as she wrote, “Sam was my beloved lifetime friend… He showed me the depths of loyalty, protectiveness, and love, always with the driest of wit.”
Calling him a “true and noble gentleman,” Dern added, “I will love you forever, Dr Alan Grant.”
Goldblum, however, kept his tribute short and simple as he stated, “The next great adventure begins. Love, always and forever. 🦕💕”
