'Buckle up Trump!' E Jean Carroll affirms she would 'absolutely' sue ex-prez again if another case emerges
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Writer E Jean Carroll declared she would "absolutely" sue former president Donald Trump if another case emerged in the future, reported The Hill.
A Manhattan federal jury on January 26 ordered Trump to pay a whopping $83.3 million as damages for defaming the former Elle columnist in 2019 by denying her accusations that the ex-president sexually assaulted her in the 1990s.
During an MSNBC interview on Monday, January 29, host Rachel Maddow discussed the recent posts on the Truth Social platform by the Republican frontrunner, where he criticized the allegations. Maddow then asked Carroll if she would consider suing him again if her attorneys found another case against Trump.
"Absolutely. Absolutely," the writer confidently stated.

Following the verdict, Trump unleashed his outrage through multiple Truth Social posts claiming the case as "false accusations" and alleged Judge Lewis Kaplan, who oversaw the trial, had "absolute hatred" toward him.
The verdict has been a legal setback for the ex-president, who explicitly expressed his disagreement. Calling it a "Biden Directed Witchhunt" against him, the former President vowed to appeal.
E Jean Carroll is 'more than willing to' repeat another trial
Carroll substantiated her confidence to face Trump once again and go through a trial.
Denying that the trial was not too much "wear and tear," the writer told the host that many people had undergone and suffered much worse situations and difficulties than her.
"I'm more than willing to do it again because we achieved so much in a seven-day trial. We did what people thought was impossible. We beat Donald Trump," the longtime advice columnist added.
Earlier in the interview, Carroll proudly stated her victory against Trump and added, "Things are going to be different, that there's going to be a new way of doing things in this country because of this indestructible team of lawyers."
It remains to be seen how the verdict will affect the voter support for the White House hopeful, who has already solidified his position as a frontrunner. He will face his sole Republican opponent, Nikki Haley, in the South Carolina primary on February 24.
