Cameron Diaz reflects on her break and comeback

Cameron Diaz has mostly kept her private life away from the spotlight, embracing her role as a mother.

Reflecting on her break, she said, "I had 10 years of not paying attention to anything, not accepting any offers. I loved those years for myself and my family."

Cameron Diaz’s return was inspired by her close friend and co-star Jamie Foxx, who persuaded her to star in the upcoming action-comedy 'Back in Action'.

Appearing on 'The Graham Norton Show', Diaz shared, “I’m back all thanks to Jamie. I’d be a fool not to come back.”

The actress received a script that reignited her passion for acting. “If I was going to leave my family for 10 hours a day, I wanted to do it with the most talented man in the entertainment business,” she said, expressing gratitude for the opportunity.

Diaz performed her stunts, recalling, “It felt like muscle memory—it was as if I had never left.”

While the film marks a triumphant return for Diaz, the production faced challenges, including reports of an on-set meltdown by Foxx in 2023.
